@ Joe: Finished up Prophecy of the Sisters this morning. It was a pretty good book. The writing was good and the story was so interesting. The underlying story is mostly about whether we have a choice in our lives or if our life is predestined. I loved it because it made me think and I do love books that make me think. You can check out my full review on my blog if you would like. http://intheclosetbibliophile.blogspo...
My next book is The Strange Case of the Composer and His Judge: A Novel. It sounds intriguing, but we shall see. Won it as an ARC. Can't wait!
I finished Personal Demon and The Housekeeper and the Professor yesterday. Personal Demon was OK - I evidently picked one in the middle of a series, it held my interest but didn't wow me. ***. The Housekeeper and the Professor was FABULOUS though - it was a quick read, I started and finished it yesterday. The characters were wonderful, the story sweet and moving. I highly recommend it!
I am reading Evernight by Claudia Gray. Don't know how I feel about it. I don't really like the main character so far. I'm in the middle so we shall see!

I just finished This Is Where I Leave You which I LOVED and gave 5 stars to. I'm now starting The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest and am a little worried I'll be incapable of doing much again until I'm done reading it, if the first two in the series are any indication!
I just finished Whiskey Sour which was pretty good, I think I will continue with the series at some point. I'd give it 3.75 stars just to make it complicated :) I think I am going to start Bloodfever tomorrow, I am behind if I am going to make my 100 book goal so I gotta start hammering them out :)
Jo wrote: "I'm reading Heart of Darkness"When I read this in high school, my teacher LOVED it. We read it at home and she would read the assigned chapter in class also. She showed us Apocolypse Now without asking the school administration! Very daring of her.

Oh, how do you like it so far?"
this is a re-read for me. I give itba 4-4.5 stars. There is room for growth in this series. I enjoyed the book both times and I think the story line is fun and different.

Ya I really like the story line, full of twists and turns.
I just finished Dream Chaser by Sherrilyn Kenyon (I am slowly trying to finish the Dark Hunter series) - Next book in line is Acheron but I just bought the newest book in the LOTU series and want to read it first - LOLI started The Darkest Lie by Gena Showalter
Leo_Paperd0ll 리오노어 wrote: "it is interesting, once you get into it"How far do you have to be into it? I am about 120 pages in.
The author takes time to introduce the characters and the main plot. I have a hard time liking Lisbeth Salander who has had such a hard life. The mystery intrigues me. A very easy read if you can get around the swedish. I guess this book is very different than what I normally read. I would not have picked it up unless I was doing it for my bookclub.
i just started liking lisbeth after she did something in the middle of the book (I dont want to spil anything) that required lots of courage
The Art Detective: Fakes, Frauds, and Finds and the Search for Lost Treasures. this is one of my reads i won here!
Loved the Millenium series - if you're at 120 you're getting to the part where you won't be able to put it down. I spent this weekend ignoring my family as I read The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest. All three are fascinating...once they get going. Worth it though.
Well I'm at page 200. For me it is put downable. I don't know if I care about how it ends. The book is due back at the library tomorrow.
Just finished
. I loved it! Ginny did such a good review I had to read it. It was excellently written!
Ooohhh, thanks Jen!! Glad you liked it :)
