hahaha yeah i work in a hosp. lol i get paranoid all the time when i read some of Larissa's books or something from bdb. so i usually am at peace in the break room lol.

LMAO!! I didn't mean to ignite a porn discussion - sorry! Just to give a brief male viewpoint here - men many times are more visually stimulated than emotionally, etc. So, movies or pics do it for them. More intelligent men would rather use a bit of the imagination.. i.e. read the book and visualize for themselves. But that is not the majority of men by far!

I was just having a conversation about this with my friend. Her husband fails to understand the appeal that women find in these books. He figures it's easier to cut to the chase and watch a porn.What he doesn't understand is that women are emotional creatures. Part of the reason we like these books is because there is an emotional connection because the characters. It's not just "on your mark, get set, go!" like it is with porn.
Besides, with books I don't have to stare at some bimbo with size-F boobs and some random dude with no acting skills. I can imagine the scene as I want!
