Gave my first book 5 stars. I've recently been "revisiting" Mercedes Lackey, since I discovered a series she'd written that I hadn't read. The Eagle & the Nightingales is the 3rd book in the Bardic Voices series. So far, this is my fav of the series.

I thought this was the best one so far. I really didn't like Reyes character but found myself falling in love with him by the end.

I liked Reyes, I didn't really bond well with Danika until towards the end. I keep hearing Darkest Whisper is the best so far. I haven't read it yet, but am looking forward to it! I think Darkest Kiss is my fav too, so far!

Oh god DW was so good. I really love how this series get's better with each book. I can't wait for Darkest Lie. I love Gideon. He is my fav Lord with Paris as a close second. Poor Paris. I wish she hurry up and write his story!

trust me Jan you will either like him or love him. I think each book is designed for you to fall in love with it's heroes. I loved Maddox until I read Lucien's . But the main two that I never stop loving is Paris and Gideon.
