I'm gonna check out Larissa Ione - thanks for the tip Celeste!

Feels so good to be reading again.

I keep picking up Holly Black's "Ironside" but can't make myself concentrate on it. It's probably because I've got a stack of about ten graphic novels staring me down. I'm taking a class on multi-cultural graphic novels in July and I'm trying to get a head start on the reading... but I'd really rather read fun paranormal stuff!

I absolutely love the fever series by Karen Marie Moning. I can't wait for the next one to come out.
I am reading 'Out of the Shadows' by Kay Hooper.

I'm dying to read some PNR, but my class starts on Monday, and I want to have read all of the required books before class starts. The joy of a summer semester class? Professors cram in four months' worth of reading into one. Eep!
I've been reading some amazing graphic novels, though. Check the recent stuff on my Read shelf if you're interested.

According to the info in the back of the book she lives here in Washington state on the western side up near Seattle. I live on the eastern side.

Is Wild Wild West a paranormal romance? I'm always looking for new PNRs - especially ones written by local Seattlites, but by the description up on Amazon.com, that one just sounds like a regular contemporary romance.

I'm having a hard time getting into books right about now.

If you like a healthy amount of mystery, detective work, and world travel with your paranormal romances then this series is definitely for you! Dirk & Steele is a well respected detective agency with secret agents that aren't quite human.
Every time I read a D&S novel, I can't help drawing similarities to the Bond movies. There's the world traveling on a near-luxury budget, the secret agency, good looking agents, and world-saving missions. It's just that in the D&S books, the good looking agents and the world-saving missions both usually have ties to the paranormal.

Yeah, Wild,Wild,West is known as a Romantica = Romance/Erotic it was a book recommendation from Laura Stamps.

For some reason, I've never read any of the Dirk & Steel books, just a couple of Marjorie's stand-alone novels. I like her books, and she's also a very nice, intelligent person. :) I met her on LiveJournal before I realized who she was, then read one of her books and thought... wait a minute... :D

I also just started Angeligue's descent. by, Lara Parker. This is a book about the old soap opera Dark Shadows. Its pretty good so far. It is also written by the lady who played Angelique on the show.

I am now in re-read of Nalini Singh's Psy-Changeling series. I inhaled these books back-to-back several months ago, so I am now re-reading them and enjoying them just as much the second time.

I do have some books I have read for pleasure though. Next one will be Dragon Wytch.

Hoping I can hold out for the newest Rachel Morgan and Sookie Stackhouse books to come out in MMP. I have a few books to try out in hopes to tide me over though I can't wait to see what happens in those.
:)

I keep seeing Kresley Cole's name come up and I've never read her books. I love, love PNR, but I'm an explicit violence wimp. How gritty are these? Man, but it would be great to find a new author to follow, though. Maybe I should just get the first book and check it out myself.
