A little of both, I guess.

I have no idea why I waited so long. I'm on book 3 and it's really just so good. Of course, I'm sure there are people who hate it, lol, but I am finding it highly entertaining.
I'm moving to Jeaniene Frost next because that's another one I've heard tons about. Or Kresley Cole. Or Nalini Singh. Or Christine Feehan... or OMG there are so many good ones I have yet to read! :-)

It's not PNR, but I'm reading Nights of Villjamur by Mark Charan Newton. It's a pretty fascinating fantasy so far.

what genre is it?

I have it too but I haven't read it let me know what you think"
I just finished it and LOVED it. It's very romantic and sweet and kinda scary. I can't wait to read the sequel :) You should try it.

omg, you do that too? I'm such a happy driver during traffic time nowadays, lol.

Great book Enjoy I loved this series.I am reading

Robin, are you reading this series again. I love the series and am debating bying it for my collection. Don't know if I would go back to read it again and again...hmmm....maybe yes. I borrowed all my books from the library. The only set I actually owned is BDB.

My reaction to this series may be caused and depleted due to the reasons that I've just read the Chicagoland Vampires books by Chloe Neill. So I'm in withdrawal from those books. If any of you have read Twice Bitten, you'll know why. Amazing series!
Before that I read and completed the Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare and was in a withdrawal over that too. So, to get me off the withdrawal, i changed from YA to Urban Fantasy and now back to YA....it's just not the same!

I can never read two at the same time. I read both and Loved both for different reasons. Have fun with Betsey and have a yummy time with JR's book

I'd definitely go for either the Night Huntress series or the Highlander series. I'm up to date on both & think they're great. I will warn you that the first 2-3 books in the Highlander series can be mediocre but they pick up in book four.

OOO so many to choose from. Ok for funny you can read

For yummy characters and scenes bettween the sheets and all around great series

Son't forget Sookie Stack House

So I have this on my to read list tell me is it great- good - amazing

I vote for the Night Huntress, but I hear the Highlander and Fever by Monning are very very good too. Next on my list after Demonica, Nalini Singh...so many series...

It truly depends on what type of books you like. I'll try to explain without spoilers...
• Highlander series do have an ending. Um...each book is focused on a couple. Once that book ends, the focus on the couple ends with it. The storylines from books 4-7 are connected and are more exciting that the previous books.
• Fever series is focused on Mac and her quest. So all 5 books are connected. There is some reference to the Highlander series. Shadowfever, the final book of the series will not be released till January. Its an amazing series and very, painful to wait for the finale....very. painful.
• Night Huntress is a mix of both styles. The entire series focuses on Cat and Bones. But each book has a plot and is resolved in that book. This too is an amazing series and i understand why people recommend it. As much as I want the next book to be released, the wait for it is not as painful as Shadowfever.
I would recommend to start off with the Night Huntress series (and the novellas connected to it). The onto the Highlander series, so that if you are to read the Fever series afterwards, the storylines of the Highlander series will be fresh on your mind. An added bonus is that the wait for Shadowfever will then be reduced.

Um. I currently have a plethora of series to read...
(There was a sale at my bookstore. So, I spent an obscene about of money on books.)
Which of the following series shall i dive into after my current series (Darkest Powers)?

• Gena Showalter's LOTU and/or Atlantis series
• Kelley Armstrong's WOTO series
• Rob Thurman's Cal Leandro's series
• Nalini Singh's Guild Hunter series
The other series I've read and really enjoy are:

So, which of the books above would you recommend that I would like based on the books I've read and enjoyed?

Of your choices, I've only read the Nightwalkers from Jacquelyn Frank, and I really enjoyed it. It was my first demon series, and it was a very interesting concept (for me) that demons are NOT evil. To put it in context of what Caramelle said, these books all have an ending and they all focus on a couple. Once the book is over, the previous couples/characters do appear, but the focus is on the current pairing.
I have heard excellent things about the other series you mentioned. At some point, I'll get through them all. :-) Right now, I'm on book 4 of Demonica (I can't believe the last one comes out end of August! I want more!!!), and I'm not sure where I'll go next. So many good series to choose from!

I've been reading Diana Pharaoh Francis (RoC Fantasy imprint) latest THE HOLLOW CROWN - Magic, Romance, Politics, Mystery - and I could use a lot more mixes like this. I'm going to review it favorably.
On Twitter a publisher @DavidRozansky was talking to a writer @Twilight2000 about founding a Paranormal Mystery line:
------------quote-------
DavidRozansky @twilight2000 Can you bring in enough writers quickly to launch imprint in short
order? Paranormal #mystery sounds like great #books.

Do you know any writers who do Paranormal Mystery-Romance? My mouth is watering already! Give me Perry Mason With Powers!
And on facebook, there's a group that wants to start a REAL Science Fiction cable channel called Syzygy
http://www.facebook.com/syzygynetwork -- have to lean on them to include top notch PNR. What books would you want to see made into series?

Thanks.

Now reading Heavenly and its nice but a little boring.

Whoosh. I am impressed that you explained all of that with out any spoilers. so hard to do.
I am a NH fan

I didn't even know about the Novella. tell me more.

Anita and Jean Claude where met in the first book Guilty Pleasures. It is certainly worth reading!

I have heard of this by Kresley Cole let me know. Busy reeading NIght Huntress but I will add to my to read column Night walkers I do not know good?

Where are you did you just start really want to know what you think I see this book on the site alot let me know OK

Lol. You're welcome! The wait is really hard! Especially with the teasers and all the theories that are bouncing around. But i stick with my recommendation with starting off with the Night Huntress series. It'll cut down the waiting and torture for Shadowfever. :)

Thanks! As for the novella's, as of August 3, there will be two:

Unbound contains a prequel to NH. It's about Bones' being in New Orleans and why he wasn't very welcome there during the NH book.
Death's Excellent Vacation should be available in bookstores tomorrow (need to pick a copy up!). It follows up with the current storyline of Cat and Bones.
Just to cover all the bases with this series....
you've heard of / read the Night Huntress World books?

each book focuses on a supporting character from the NH series and gives them their own HEA! :)

Mmmm.. I think I need to move to Scotland, after having read this series.. lol

Bahahahaahaha!!! Sadly I do that too. After reading a series I enjoy, I consider living there.
New Orleans. Chicago. Ireland. New York. Greece. Scotland. Alicante. Ichidian Universe....

PS - I'm having such a difficult time continuing to read The Awakening. Is it REALLY that good of a series?
