... I love Ty and Zane, but while the first book was believable (as to the development of their relationship), I kind of felt the second book started off somewhere different than where I thought they were at the end of C&R... But S&S definitely developed the way I wanted it to:)I'm hooked, and therefore on to book 3:
I am not sure if this is the correct spot for this question, but couldn't find a specific thread, my apologies if this belongs elsewhere. After reading a discussion thread that mentioned
, I decided a re-read was in order. I promptly came to the part where Derek is discussing his background with Joyce, and admits to having been (view spoiler), " amongst other things"... Is it me, or do you think the author I tends us to "think the worst" of what is left unsaid? I am not really certain what could be worse, but it is an interesting writing technique...["br"]>["br"]>
I'm a little over half done with
and I'm lovin' me some James Ardmore! LOL How could I hate a character in one books so much and like him so much in the next? Thought St. Vincent was the only villain turned hero who could truly pull a 360 and make me fall in love with him!
@Heidi: Loretta Chase did a great job with Vere in The Last Hellion. In Lord of Scoundrels he was a vapid twerp who got his butt kicked. He ended up being an amazing hero in his own book. Some authors can pull that off.

, which the book's couple reminds me of an LK's couple. You know who I'm talking about.

I am bad about checking this thread, so I didn't see this question. I would surmise that Derek might have been involved (view spoiler)
