What are you reading?
I'm listening to
on audio. Love Bowen & Mariketa's story. Also doing a slow "buddy read" of
as we've both read it before.Reading on Kindle Fire:
Joeera - I liked Once Upon a Scandal! Hope you do too.Been stuck in a book rut, so re-listening to a fave in hopes of breaking the drudgery. Devil in Winter - do your magic!

You get a story--all 450+ words. The first 6 books are my favorites. I read them in order and would read them again in a heartbeat. I read Stephanie's Black Cobra Quartet and loved each book! You will love them!

Thanks for letting me know Susan. I have the first 5 so I'll have a bit of summer reading ahead of me for sure. I'm glad that they are so good!

Because You're Mine by Lisa Kleypas
Has anyone read the new LK rain shadow road book yet? I can believe that we are visiting Seattle at the moment but won't get nearer to the San juan islands. I've seen the islands from fidalgo island but we don't really have time to visit especially with two small kids to amuse.

Lady Danielle aka The Book Huntress wrote: "I've read a couple of her Harlequin Historicals. Wayward Widow is quite good."Have to say not really grabbed so far. Doesn't compare to the Courtney Milan and Ellen o'Connell books I just read.

Don't you just love it when someone PMs you asking for a good romance book or author and you discover they have NEVER read any Lisa Kleypas? Man-oh-man! My heart starts beating faster and I get so excited.
I
get to recommend her to them! Alas, I am also envious, too. I remember that feeling of discovering a wonderful love story. Super neat.
It's always great to introduce someone to an author, especially one of Lisa Kleypas's stature. I envy them, because they have so much good stuff to read. Enjoy!
I just finished
and really liked it...the paranormal aspect of the story worked for me better than the magical realism in
.
