Laura wrote: "I have
on my Kindle, but haven't gotten to it yet. Should be interesting."FIONA & LAURA- well, I finished it and the last 10% or so of the book was the best part. It seemed to drag on for me.
I will be curious as to you thoughts Laura, let me know what you think once you start and finish it.
Lisa Kay wrote: "Wow, Laura! I just started
today also."I'll be interested to know how you guys find it. I really disliked the only one of hers I have read
Surrender of a Siren.
By the way I am off on hols from tomorrow for a couple of weeks and I'm not taking any form of internet communication with me (but plenty of books).

I will thank you. We're going to Tropea in Italy btw.
Oh, wow! I'm jealous. Seriously. Take pictures and post them for us when you get home? I'll take the trip vicariously through you.

Wow... what fun. Have a blast!!!!!!
I've just started
which a re-read being the only book in the Wallflower series I had already read some years ago.
Oooo, Laura
is the best, on my 5 star shelf. Loved this book.I just finished
(4 stars), I am shoping to start
. This will be my first Jodi thomas read.
Heidi, I just have to speak up and also say that
has been one of my favorite reads this year!Katherine, I loved
also!
ok, I hope I like
Lisa Kay. eveyone recommends it so highly.
was just ok for me.(OMG, I sould like an American Idol judge)!
finished
Finally! phew! I need my fix .. jumping over to
.. nothing holds a candle to this series.. :P
Lisa Kay I'm hoping I really like it too. This will be my first book by this author. A friend of mine received boxes and boxes of books and Marsha Canham was among them so I took several of hers. So far I do like it and I like her writing style.
Halted w/
(plan to read it when it is available in paperback) and finished with
. With life's intrusions, I'm probably not able to read any more books for now except maybe if I can sneak in one but that's hoping that something will grab my attention.
Just finished
Question for all you Elizabeth Hoyt fans I have
and
on my bookshelf. Is it okay to read these out of order from the series or not?
Melody wrote: "Okay I caved and started
I'm 40 pages in and it's not really grabbing me though..."Those books are really connected. I think starting with the first in the series is probably best.
Melody wrote: "Okay I caved and started

E., what did you think of Lynsay Sands'
? I have it on my TBR...Back from my week away with forty 10 year olds.. I only got a hundred pages in this week... Pathetic!! Finished
and
today (first books I've gotten in since I've been back, lol)

Melanie, I found that I liked
better than
due to the heroine, but overall, I liked the two books as a whole. I'm just mad that Ms. Sands is taking so long for the youngest sister's book to be published (next year...ugh) since I want to read the trilogy (I think that's what it is) together.I may have read the second book first but that didn't detract me from enjoying both books. Both have their good/bad points; the heroine of the second book just made me like her more.
Okay, from my memory I gave the first book of the trilogy 3* and the second one 4*. If I have the time (or the inkling for it), I would have written a book review, but I just don't have the patience for my brain to organize itself to put down my thoughts about the book.
Ah, sorry about the ranting. I got carried away there. Just to conclude: I liked the books and I prefer her historical books than her paranormal series.
Oh, and I can't wait for her Highlander series to continue. The three books left me hanging for more, especially the last one hinting of more romances in the storyline (this series
, I mean).
Groovy, thanks E., I'll give them a try, then!! I also loved her HIghlander series, and prefer her historicals (although some of her PNRs are fun too!)!!Read
last night and enjoyed it... 3.5*
speaking of Lindsay Sands. can any one recommend me one for first try Author?? I havent read any of her books yet. (I prefer the historical tho) Any suggestions???Finished
(5*) simply amazing. Started
