I've had this one since it came out but haven't picked it up yet. Glad to know that you are enjoying it. Love a book with humor.

Melanie (melaina) | 638 comments I also have Goodnight Tweetheart by Teresa Medeiros on my shelves at home:-) Heard it was good but kinda sad...

Mshj - I will definitely try more by MJP... Probably more of the Fallen Angel series.. But I have The Rake by Mary Jo Putney The Wild Child (The Bride Trilogy, #1) by Mary Jo Putney The Marriage Spell by Mary Jo Putney and Angel Rogue (Fallen Angels, #4) by Mary Jo Putney on my shelves:-) Any you'd recommend?:-D

message 3606: by D.G. (new)

D.G. Of that bunch, the only one I've read is The Rake and it was pretty good. :)

I think I'll get around to it this week:-) It does look good!

message 3608: by MashJ (new)

MashJ | 733 comments Hi Melanie- the Rake and Angel Rogue are good. I didn't enjoy the Wild Child so much but it's not bad- certainly an interesting idea. I haven't read any of her paranormals.

message 3609: by Melanie (new)

Melanie (melaina) | 638 comments Thx Mshj!! I'll def give them a try then:-) The Rake is kind of pulling at me!!

Read How to Flirt with a Naked Werewolf (Naked Werewolf, #1) by Molly Harper last night and loved it.. So funny!! I was lol while my s.o. was asleep and kept waking him up:-o But definitely worth it!

And just finished a HR, An Improper Proposal by Patricia Cabot , which I also loved.. I really enjoy Patricia/Meg Cabot: the fact that her heroine and hero figure out early on that they love each other and don't go through all the usual jealousy and angst is a refreshing change from most HRs(not to say I don't enjoy that either, it's just nice to change every so often!):-D 4.5*

message 3619: by Jennifer (new)

Jennifer (sadstrumpetjenny) I just finished Dragon Bound (Elder Races, #1) by Thea Harrison and Angels' Blood (Guild Hunter, #1) by Nalini Singh . I didn't intend to read them at the same time, it just happened that way - but the similarities were pretty striking. Crazy.

Now I am knee-deep in Night of Fire by Barbara Samuel . Loving it. I snapped up all of Barbara Samuel's ebooks, and have yet to be disappointed. She is the best.

Melanie (melaina) | 638 comments Currently reading First Impressions by Debra White Smith , a modern version of Pride & Prejudice, and enjoying it:-D

message 3629: by D.G. (new)

D.G. Oh man! You're making me want to pick up Naked Edge right now and I can't! I HAVE to read a book from the library once I'm done with the book I'm reading now!

message 3630: by Katherine (new)

Katherine | 828 comments Finally reading My Dearest Enemy by Connie Brockway Love the letters.

message 3631: by Melanie (new)

Melanie (melaina) | 638 comments Finished First Impressions by Debra White Smith ... I actually liked the first half better. It was cute though, just a little preachy at times, and I kind of wish there had been more sexual tension (although both these "issues" are kind of mutually exclusive I guess, lol), so 3* for me:-)

I think I'm going to go ahead and head to bed while listening to The Hobbit.. And maybe go ahead and choose a book to read in the morning:-D

Oh, I'm not going to be here next week, so I'm trying to get a couple books together for the week, since I volunteered to accompany 40 ten year-olds on their class trip in the mountains this week! Shoot me know, it'll be faster! So I'm taking my Kindle (so as to not have shocking covers for the little buggers!), and the three or four books I need to finish my SRC Summer Challenge... Somewhere In Time by Richard Matheson Dragonflight (Pern Dragonriders of Pern, #1) by Anne McCaffrey The Particular Sadness of Lemon Cake by Aimee Bender
