What are you reading?

Ended up reading

I adored that book!!! Gillian and Christopher were both heartbreaking, but they were so perfect for each other!!! It was my first Lynn Kurland, but not my last! I already went ahead and added all the de Piaget books to my BD basket, along with a couple others:-D Are they all that good?

Um..pretty good, funny, cute. I started it late last night, was up until 3:45 reading it. Got about 100 pages left. It's not too long..i think 295 pages total.

How was it laura?"
For me and having read so many novels set during that time period, I found it to be a bit simplistic and forced...I actually had it figured out exactly what the author was going to do to end the story so it wasn't as an emotional read for me. That said, it is a good introduction to that era and the horrors that occurred so I would recommend it for younger readers.

I totally agree Jennifer, that was a WAY HOT book!!!

Thats a very strong reason as per why i tend to be selective on stories set around WWII era. They are just sooo many.. and they can get on the same hangers each time and again. I like to read the ones that make tribute to this poignant period in world history. I always strive to learn something new. thats kinda of my take on it.
Thanks for the brief!
