What are you reading?
Melody wrote:I can't really say slow cause it's obviously a coming-of-age story. But it's coming off slow to me cause it's not what I was expecting. I understand why Kleypas did it but I'm not sure if it's all really necessary. I'm tempted to skip this and go straight to Blue Eyed Devil but I can't bring myself too. LoL I'm just gonna shut up and keep going. lolI think i agree with you on that pt Melody. IMHO I saw this book as Liberty`s journey more than a romance story, which is the category of the book. Needless to say i adored that book for the exact same reasons. weird huh?.But i fully understand why i gives the wrong expectations. I think once one is thru the whole Travis`s series the whole puzzle fits in very cleverly. well, thats just my take. i hope u enjoy the other 2 if haven't come around them yet. :)

Reading this right now, next is another LK
I had been working my way through LK's backlist when I got distracted by Elizabeth Hoyt and had to read all of her books. So now I'm back on track...
Pamela wrote: "I am just starting the Four Soldiers series by Elizabeth Hoyt."I loved that series. Especially Alistair's story

Yeah!I heard a lot of good things about the Hunger Games too!! So far, it's really great!!
The Hunger Games is really awesome! I'll read the next installment in the coming year. :)I'm dying for some historical romance and this freaking book I'm reading doesn't end (I'm having problems with it but I'm just reading it because I want to write a review.)
Ronyell wrote: "Oh! You're reading Goodnight Tweetheart Atumn? I can't wait to read this book too!!"i know!! it came out wednesday!! I couldnt wait!! =)

Atumn wrote: "D.G : It sounds Funny!! lol!! might read it!!"The heroine is hysterical. :) I'll post one of her quotes later.
Finally got that life's intrusion over with for this year. Now I can READ.That said, I'm itching to get going on my challenge but I got this book His Christmas Virgin to tide me over so that, hopefully, I'll be finished with it by the time the challenge begins. (Argh. The title doesn't do the book justice. Sometimes, the publisher sure has a way with titles. X( )
Laura KinsaleSeize The Fire
Blimey she's a wonderful writer and so creative-brilliant characterisations.
It's about a Princess who is plump and naive.
And about a naval hero who is no hero and is broke.
The plot is crazy - they're currently shipwrecked on an island- not tropical though- snow and penguins.
Just started 'Love in the Afternoon' by LK. Excited cos I've been looking out for it for a while now and its just appeared as a Kindle book. Yeah!
Ronyell wrote: "Just finished
and it was amazing!!!"really??? u think i should try it?? im not into paranormal or Y/A but i have heard GREAT things about it..
The Hunger Games is AMAZING, Atumn! It's not really paranormal, more like a dystopia. The characters are young people, but it's not about high school or anything. This book is dead serious and so exciting. My heart was beating so hard during most of the book.

Katherine - that's good to hear. I was intrigued by it cos the heroine is into animals, so romance, animals and LK - has to be a winning combination.
Just finished

.I've had a rough weekend and haven't been able to read at all!! On top of having to bake SIX 14-layer choc cakes, my wisdom tooth decided to push through and I've been in terrible pain. So, instead of getting the cakes baked over the weekend, I've got tofinish it up this week because I slept the weekend away.
Sigh . . .This month has just gone by TOOOO fast for me!!
Finally finished Nothing Denied (Albright Sisters #3)...plan to satr a book I got for 10 cents this summer at the book sale at my library.A Gift of Love
