At the beginning I thought it was an idiom (English is my second language) but I'm usually able to figure out expressions I don't know by the context but in this one I was clueless...the expression was so strange to me that I didn't even know it referred to knitting - the book is fantasy so there was a lot of magic in it so I don't know if that was a spell.
finished
(graphic novel version, can't find it on Goodreads) and
. Started
and still listening to
on audio book.

I'm reading
for my pot luck challenge. So yummy so far.Carolyn, what did you think of Stephanie Plum?
Wow! Starting with the Pot Luck Challenge already! I won't be able to start for that in at least a few days. I already finished a book today
. It was very good. Not as steamy as I thought it was going to be though. :)Next I'll start a book for this month's BYOC: World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War. Now that I read some historical romance, I'm ready to tackle that book. :)

Ugh Laura. I may read the first two before then. I have book #1 and am on the waiting list for book #2 so I was going to wait and read them both at the same time. I'm #65 on the waiting list, so who knows how long it'll be before I get Linger.

I'll have to find a copy of them, I'm sure I'll love them!
Typically speaking I don't like to read the same author back to back because I have a tendency to get bored with them, you don't feel this would be the case here do you? Especially since it would be different genres?
Cheryl, I can say that I went from reading Goddess of the Hunt to Surrender of a Siren, and feel I am reading two completely different authors writing the same trilogy! Does that make sense? I though GotH was good, but SoaS so much better!

But even when I read a series I don't read them back to back.. someone told me it's because I'm a Gemini.. we have to have variety! :)
CHERYL~ I am on chapter 20...read 16 last night...WOW!I have The Prize on my tbr shelf...I need to get reading!
Heidi, I thought Ch. 16 was the hottest non-touching each other chapter that I've ever read! It was even hotter than some sex scenes in books!
Cheryl wrote: "Heidi, I thought Ch. 16 was the hottest non-touching each other chapter that I've ever read! It was even hotter than some sex scenes in books!"ok...WHAT BOOK are we talking about here????
book 6 of my "Read 11 from my TBR Pile" challenge as well as my "Pot Luck Challenge" AND my "Spell November" challenge!I think I've figured out how to combine these!! LOL!
I can't wait to read that Elizabeth Hoyt series! I have books 2-4.. just need to find book #1, I was hoping to find it used to be cheaper!
