Again the magic!!!! I haven't read Sugar Daddy yet. It's book 1 in the contemporary series and Again the Magic is the prequel to her historical Wallflowers series.

Ok, Danielle! Sounds like a plan...it also helps me decide what to read next. LOLBekah, you're right. You are no help! LOL Thanks for trying, though.
UM, I didn't realize Again the Magic was a prequel to the Wallflowers! *squeal*

I just finished Three Weddings and a Kiss and really loved it. The story by Lisa Kleypas was wonderful, Derek Craven was in the story so now I need to find his story and read it.
I just started to re-read Secrets of a Summer Night...after all the Wallflowers talk, I had to start them over!

I just finished It Happened One Autumn. I loved this one as well. Oh, Westcliff *sigh*I liked St. Vincent, can't believe the kidnapping part. I mean I can but I didn't think he would resort to that. Oh, I absolutely loved the cliffhanger at the end of the book with Evie. I can only imagine how that will transpire!

Danielle "The Book Huntress" wrote: "Alycia, hang on to something when you read Devil in Winter. St. Vincent is so hot!"ROFLMAO! Ok, Danielle. I will heed your advice. I like him even though I don't know much about him. I didn't like the kidnapping, but I understood why he did it. And I can't wait to see how Evie is transformed!... looking forward to hot St. Vincent scenes!!! :)

Simon is one of my favorite heros! I forgot how much I loved him until I stared reading this again! Love he fact that he's just aguy, not a duke or an earl. just a red-blooded male!
Alright, ladies. Listen to this. I recommended Devil in Winter to one of my girlfriends the other day. After she read it she actually had the nerve to tell me that it was only so-so! I was floored! I'm actually considering ending the friendship. LOL
lol, I've had to contemplate friendships for similar reasons...don't feel bad. I mean these are important matters in life. :-)

I am now on to Westcliff and Lillian BABY!

Did she read the same book we all have read? Does she show signs of fever?

Well, after reading 8 LK books in a row I decided to take a break and read Lara Adrian's Ashes Of Midnight. I enjoyed it, but the last 100 pages or so seemed to drag for me.Now, I'm trying to decide if i should read something else by LK or if i should start a Colleen Gleason book.
Heidi wrote: "Anne wrote: "Alright, ladies. Listen to this. I recommended Devil in Winter to one of my girlfriends the other day. After she read it she actually had the nerve to tell me that it was..."I think she may have been expecting it to be racier?

DIW could have had more love scenes, but maybe she was trying to show a more emotional aspect to St. Vincent. We knew he was a rake who was 'good in bed.' I think she wanted to show the other, under-expressed aspects of his character. Just my thoughts, anyway.
I agree with you Danielle. That is a great way to put it... trying to show a more emotional aspect to St. Vincent.

I'll join you in that conversation once I finished DIW. I am almost done! I think this one is my fav. Wallflower book so far.

I just finished it Danielle! I love St. Vincent even more! I think I love each new hero in the Wallflower series more than the last one. I just hope he makes appearances in other books!

Never fear. St. Vincent continues to turn up. Some readers don't get the St. Vincent appeal. For me, he's just the man!

I just finished Again The Magic. I was kind of disappointed. I wish it had been more about Livia and Gideon, and less about Aline and McKenna. It was still a decent book, though.
Anne wrote: "I just finished Again The Magic. I was kind of disappointed. I wish it had been more about Livia and Gideon, and less about Aline and McKenna. It was actually my favorite Wallflower book because of the honesty of McKenna's reaction to finding out why Aline was keeping them apart. I sobbed while reading this book.
I just read a book Joss Ware, and a novella by Nalini Singh...both were VERY disappointing. I think i need to read another LK book. :)

I actually wanted more McKenna/Aline and less Gideon/Olivia. I wish she had written a separate novella for G/O.

I just finished Proof by Seduction by Courtney Milan. WOW, I loved this book. It had some funny scenes that reminded me of Julia Quinn's writing. CM is a new author and I love her style. Even though there are some funny scenes, this book is powerful and shows the depth of all the characters not glossing over their flaws but instead showing you why they are as they are. The hero is really damaged and I liked that he didn't change as soon as he met the heroine like so many books do.I sobbed when I read the last few chapters.
This author is one to watch.
Cynthia,Yes, I loved it too! Trial By Desire is supposed to come out in... October, I think. Courtney Milan stopped by my review/comments and answered a couple questions we had.

Danielle,I completely agree, wish the book had been solely about Aline/McKenna and then another book with Gideon/Olivia. I think ATM was too good of a book to put in a whole other love story, just my opinion.

That's okay, Anne. We aren't always going to think the same way about things. The world would be so boring! I'm glad we met and became friends!

I think McKenna and Aline had more to their story than was revealed. It felt incomplete. It was a great book, but I needed more.
I know, I know. LOL, right there with ya! I sobbed through it and re-read it once a year just to torment myself and feel all good at the end. Am I crazy or just addicted to angst and happily ever after?
