Thanks for reminding me to check the library Carolyn. Not only can I order the Diana Gabaldon books but I can also order one of my September challenge books and a coupleof others. Nowhere in the whole county though (Devon) is Lisa Kleypas or Mary Balogh stocked.

I try to make my own epilogues but sometimes its not easy. I read a book once where it ended with the heroine being pregnant and there was no sequel.

Thanks Mshj - I think Penelope Keith would make a great Agatha Raisin on the audio CDs.

Robin | 361 comments Meagan, Have you read the other four books in the MacLean Series? The one you're currently on is really good but I think my fave is the first. *Possible Spoiler* I like the fact that when Fiona gets mad her rain smells like Lilac. I think I read them out of order and haven't finished the 3rd yet.

this is actually the first book of the series that I have read and I really like it so far. I have heard that the other ones are better and will read them too eventually. I'm really bad about starting series out of order. If I see it at the library and it catches my eye, I will read it, then later figure out the order, lol.

message 1158: by Carolyn F. (new)

Carolyn F. I finished Feast of Fools (The Morganville Vampires, #4) by Rachel Caine and am now reading King's Property (Queen of the Orcs, #1) by Morgan Howell .

You're not alone in reading series out of order. I know I do mostly for the same reason as you and I've heard others comment on doing the same thing. However, if I know its a series before I start reading I try to read in order. I just found out earlier today that Karen Hawkins is starting a new series telling the stories of Caitlyn and Catriona's siblings.

I started reading Elizabeth Hoyt's Four Soldiers Series this morning.

I need to get the Prince Trilogy. I read The Ice Princess which is considered to be Prince Trilogy #4 on Elizabeth Hoyt's website. Not counting IP To Taste Temptation (Legend of the Four Soldiers, #1) by Elizabeth Hoyt is my first Elizabeth Hoyt.

I've read 2 of the 4 soldiers and also the Leopard Prince. I loved that one but didn't really get on with the 4 soldiers- apart from learning a new use for lemons!

To Seduce A Sinner (Legend of the Four Soldiers, #2) by Elizabeth Hoyt To Beguile a Beast (Legend of the Four Soldiers, #3) by Elizabeth Hoyt The Leopard Prince (Princes Trilogy, #2) by Elizabeth Hoyt

message 1169: by Robin (new)

Robin | 361 comments Mshj, In which book did you learn a new use for lemons? I'm thinking you can safely give the title without giving anything else away.

message 1170: by Bekah, Fellow Kleypasaholic (new)

Bekah (bekah317) | 2750 comments I liked the four soldiers so much better than the prince series. For whatever reason it just resonated more with me. I can barely remember what the prince series was about...the only thing that really stuck out in my memory about that series was Harry Pye!! :-)

When I was on here yesterday I'd gotten as far as completing the Prologue for
To Taste Temptation. I've now gotten as far as the first page of Chapter Two. On page ten it talks about Samuel's mother pouring boiling water over Lemon Balm leaves but I'm thinking this is not the part you're referring to.

I definitely need to read Prince Trilogy, especially Leopard it sounds like.

Ha- no not the scene- it was used as a contraceptive- both the juice and, I think, the juiceless half. A quick google suggests it is actually very effective! I'm sure it was "To Beguile a Beast".

On the Leopard Prince- yes, I really enjoyed it. It was a nice upstairs, downstairs romance with Harry as a land steward (that's not a spoiler-it's in mentioned on the back of the book and the first page!). Very earthy.

That's right Robin, we're fancy ladies (just not those kinds). And no more lemons for me Megan, I'd be looking for floaters. (I'm making myself sick!)

If you go to her Reader's Ask page on her website http://www.lisakleypas.com/readersask... One of the questions asks about her NAL novels. The answer lists them and Love Come To Me is one of them. The page is off some how though, you have to select the question below the one you want in order for it to open the correct one.

I was at Elizabeth Hoyt's website last night and apparently the cover 's for The Prince Trilogy have been redone. If you mouse over the new one you can see the old one. I think I like the new one's better.
