Thanks for reminding me to check the library Carolyn. Not only can I order the Diana Gabaldon books but I can also order one of my September challenge books and a coupleof others. Nowhere in the whole county though (Devon) is Lisa Kleypas or Mary Balogh stocked.

Thanks Mshj - I think Penelope Keith would make a great Agatha Raisin on the audio CDs.
Meagan, Have you read the other four books in the MacLean Series? The one you're currently on is really good but I think my fave is the first. *Possible Spoiler* I like the fact that when Fiona gets mad her rain smells like Lilac. I think I read them out of order and haven't finished the 3rd yet.

I have heard that the other ones are better and will read them too eventually. I'm really bad about starting series out of order. If I see it at the library and it catches my eye, I will read it, then later figure out the order, lol.

I know I do mostly for the same reason as you and I've heard others comment on doing the same thing. However, if I know its a series before I start reading I try to read in order. I just found out earlier today that Karen Hawkins is starting a new series telling the stories of Caitlyn and Catriona's siblings.
I started reading Elizabeth Hoyt's Four Soldiers Series this morning.
Bekah wrote: "I like the four soldiers books! especially the first, pretty spicy!!!"I need to read those. I also have her Prince's Trilogy to read.

I am reading nothing historical or even that romantic at the moment, just
, it is brilliant though, I am becoming a huge fan of Caitlin Kittredge

I need to get the Prince Trilogy. I read The Ice Princess which is considered to be Prince Trilogy #4 on Elizabeth Hoyt's website. Not counting IP
is my first Elizabeth Hoyt.
UniquelyMoi *~*Dhestiny*~* wrote: "I might change out my Prince Trilogy for the Legend books. Decisions, decisions..."I've read 2 of the 4 soldiers and also the Leopard Prince. I loved that one but didn't really get on with the 4 soldiers- apart from learning a new use for lemons!
Mshj, In which book did you learn a new use for lemons? I'm thinking you can safely give the title without giving anything else away.
I liked the four soldiers so much better than the prince series. For whatever reason it just resonated more with me. I can barely remember what the prince series was about...the only thing that really stuck out in my memory about that series was Harry Pye!! :-)
I hope you like it. The first one is pretty good, the hero is very hot...and there are some really really really nice scenes between the hero and heroine!
Robin wrote: "Mshj, In which book did you learn a new use for lemons? I'm thinking you can safely give the title without giving anything else away."To Beguile a Beast I think.
Harry Pye from the LP was very memorable!

When I was on here yesterday I'd gotten as far as completing the Prologue for
To Taste Temptation. I've now gotten as far as the first page of Chapter Two. On page ten it talks about Samuel's mother pouring boiling water over Lemon Balm leaves but I'm thinking this is not the part you're referring to.
I definitely need to read Prince Trilogy, especially Leopard it sounds like.

Ha- no not the scene- it was used as a contraceptive- both the juice and, I think, the juiceless half. A quick google suggests it is actually very effective! I'm sure it was "To Beguile a Beast".
On the Leopard Prince- yes, I really enjoyed it. It was a nice upstairs, downstairs romance with Harry as a land steward (that's not a spoiler-it's in mentioned on the back of the book and the first page!). Very earthy.
Carolyn F. wrote: "Oh that's right - I kept thinking it would burn."Yes- someone will have to test it!!
I'm reading Laura Kinsale's "Uncertain Magic" at the moment- I'm early on but I@m impressed so far-she's very good.
Mshj- I'm with Carolyn sounds like it would burn. I just looked and To Beguile a Beast is number 3 and I'm on Chapter 2 of number 1. Drat!Carolyn- I'm just going to wait in the Parlor with you sipping tea while we wait for a very informative report from the brave Mshj. lol
Megan- I agree!

I'm requesting tea WITHOUT lemon, thank you, LMAO

That's right Robin, we're fancy ladies (just not those kinds). And no more lemons for me Megan, I'd be looking for floaters. (I'm making myself sick!)
Well ladies you're in luck because there don't seem to be any lemons. Either we're out or they have simply disappeared.

I have just started
, and so far I am liking it as much as her historicals. I think it may be one of those read in a day books!

I was at Elizabeth Hoyt's website last night and apparently the cover 's for The Prince Trilogy have been redone. If you mouse over the new one you can see the old one. I think I like the new one's better.
http://www.elizabethhoyt.com/books/in... The Prince Trilogy is at the bottom.

Oh, no, no, no, I'm not volunteering although I'll admit - now I'm curious. As to how effective it is you'd probably end up pregnant but it would blond up certain areas!!

I went to my friend Google and he showed me some rather interesting results including some modern day lab testing.
I have now finished
, which I really loved and am about to start reading
, I look forward to reading more about Hardy Cates!
I finally started It Happened One Autumn yesterday. I'm only about 60 pages in, but enjoying it quite a bit so far.:-)
I've swtiched from To Taste Temptation to Wicked Intentions (it was more persistent) both are by Elizabeth Hoyt.
