((I'm....I was being rude and comparing you to a monster...))
Akrisios nodded."Of course, little tyrannical wolf. Play your games."

((I got that part... I'd like to see your actual art, LD!))
Caleb coughed, slightly uncomfortable. "Thanks... I suppose I will remain, then."

((Nuh-uh!))
Caleb's eyebrows rose in slightly amused worry. "Well... That would've been unpleasant."

((AH! I love bright blue eyes and black hair! It's my favorite combination! I also like bright blue eyes and dark brown hair...))
Caleb felt his cheeks heat up as Lyra leaned into his eyes. "If that's the way you're going to treat your subjects, you're not going to have a kingdom for very long," he informed her with a smile.

((Sweet. :) I wish I did.))
Caleb's hand tightened slightly on his seat. Nice going, idiot, he reprimanded himself. "Hm," he said, deciding not to comment on her last remark. "Australia is nice. It would be a better place than here."

((LITTLEDOLPHIN! Good morning!))
Caleb nodded, releasing his hand. He was grateful for the accepted change of subject. "We were there for about a week once. It's really very pretty. There are lots of cool animals."

((Yeah! Not much actually happened.... KENZIE!))
"Well," Caleb thought for a moment. He grinned. "Dolphins. Kangaroos." He grimaced. "Some people there eat them." He tapped a finger against the desk. "We saw some really cool birds. I don't know what they were called. And yes, the snakes were amazing. Then there was this one thing, it has really big eyes... I can't remember what it's called."

((LITTLEDOLHPIN!!))
Caleb grinned as Lyra's eyes lit up. "Yeah, we saw one. We weren't there very long, but my parents made sure to take Avery and I on to a wildlife place. It was cool. And I'm not sure if it was a cuscus."

Caleb thought for a moment. "Well, most of the places haven't been too exotic. The reason we moved so much is that my parents are-were- computer programmers, and they set up systems for companies, so... they needed technology. We did get to see a California condor, once, when we were in America. It was huge. The cutest were probably the tiger cubs that we saw... I can't remember where it was, though."
((Sorry, I had to go to a dinner.))
Caleb grinned. "Oh, that's a hard one..." He thought silently for a moment, then shrugged. "Honestly? Probably dogs. Or..." he coughed. "Pandas."

((Aw... Fun. ish. HI!))
Caleb felt his cheeks heat up--again. This seemed to be an increasingly frequent occurrence. He smiled in a sort of embarrassed, cheery way. "Yeah, they're pretty awesome," he said. "Are you just humoring me?"

((Yep! I couldn't think about what to write...))
Caleb looked at the ceiling for a moment, his face flaming. Why did you tell her that? He finally looked back down to Lyra. "Good try," he said. "It's all true, but..." he coughed, a smile coming to his face. "I can tell you want to laugh. Go ahead. I know it's weird."

((It's okay, I use mommy. Well, usually Mother or Mom when I'm hyper, but I always call my dad "daddy".))
Caleb let out a breath, forcing himself to calm down. "Flange," he said seriously.

((Haha!))
Caleb lifted his eyebrows and gave Lyra a happy grin. "It's every color of the rainbow somehow together, but not in a murky mess. Still color-rainbow-y. Don't ask me how it's possible... It's magic." He got a serious look again and nodded.

Lyra swallowed back the lump in her throat. People would eat kangaroos? She blinked and cleared her throat. "Some people eat dolphins, or kangaroos?" Her heart fluttered anxiously ..."
((Lol, hi!))

((Yeah. Haha! Yep. Go for the brightside. Me? Every day, it's the crazyside. Have fun. I think I'm going to sleep too.))
Caleb grinned. "Nah, it isn't mine either. It's just plain old blue, but occasionally I must be..." he shrugged. "I don't know. Random. Exciting." He tilted his head to one side. "What is yours, then?"

((On the brightside today?))
Caleb nodded with a smile. "That's pretty awesome," he said. "Since always?"
Caleb nodded with a smile. "That's pretty awesome," he said. "Since always?"
((Lo siento...))
Caleb nodded. "That's nice," he said, not prying into her halted sentence or pensive sigh. He simply smiled. "You seem like a vibrant color kind of person."

Caleb shrugged. "Well," he said, looking away for a moment, "you're just bright. You have a vibrant personality."

Caleb let out an internal sigh. He looked up at Lyra, his eyes showing that he was taking a moment to understand. "Oh." He thought. "I... Well, I like a lot of things. I like reading, and writing, and I've always liked exploring." He grinned slightly. "Avery and I would have "safaris" sometimes. It was fun. I really enjoy soccer, most of all."
Caleb nodded with a sheepish grin. "Yeah... It was a long time ago." He shrugged. "Soccer is really fun. What do you like to do?"
Caleb nodded with a small smile. "That's great," he said. "Animal shelters need lots of help with all they do." He tilted his head to one side. "Stargazing is nice. We were between two little cities on a road once, the stars were fantastic." He shrugged with a slightly self-consious grin. "But it always makes me feel dizzy. I don't know what you call that. Vertigo?"
((That is so sad...))
Caleb let out a small sigh. What can I say to that? He wondered. He leaned over and touched her arm comfortingly. "And it sounds to me like he had a good big sister, too."

Akrisios sighed audibly."Everytime she tells people she gets upset. Let sleeping dogs lie, this isn't the time to cry unless you want to be seen doing it in front of an army of Death Eaters, because I'm sure they'd love to listen to your sob story."
((PUDDING!! And Caleb has already heard the story...))
Caleb turned his head to face Akrisios, his expression mixed. "She can say whatever she wants," he said with a tilt to his head. "I don't mind."

Anni sighed, staring into her cauldron. Usually her potions turned out perfectly fine, but she couldn't seem to make this one work.

((HI! Whoa, LD, that was intense.))
Caleb didn't make a comment until he'd turned back to the front. He gave Lyra an encouraging smile.

Akrisios stood up."I have something to do during this period." He muttered."I don't think I'll attend that stupid class...What was it? Oh, the one that wants students to get themselves killed but Dementors and Death Eaters."
Aurelian scribbled furiously upon the wrinkled parchment, wrapping it tightly and giving it her seal.

((There she is! Yeah, I do too. :) Oh. LITTLEDOLPHIN!!! PUDDING!!!))
Caleb half-turned, his eyes confused. Then he realized what Akrisios was talking about and let out a silent sigh.
