Aurelian twisted in her seat, a frown lighting her pale complexion and knitting her brows. Her forehead glistened with nervous sweat and she bit her lip."Oh...my." She read further, Asparas shifted restlessly on his perch. She reached out to touch him once in reassurance and he relaxed.

Akrisios slipped into the room and sat in the back corner, eyes on the dark wood of the table.

A point mutation is a mistake in just one "letter" (A,T,C, and G - the hydrogenous bases of nucleotides) on a strand of DNA, while a chromosomal mutation may affect thousands of nucleotides, as it involves a whole chromosome, which is comprised of MANY nucleotides. Point mutations may be relatively insignifcant, such as a substitution, or they may affect the rest of the DNA, as in a deletion.))
