Not really original on my list :)
1. Tal
2. Definitely "Devil in Winter". "Mine Till Midnight" is right after.
3. St. Vincent and Evie are my favorite couple and characters. I also liked Cam Rohan, Kev Merripen and Beatrix Hathaway as characters.
4. LK can tell a story. She makes you feel the characters and eventually fall in love with the story. I could actually hear Evie stammer in Devil in winter...

Again, welcome!!!!

I agree that LK is a very expressive writer, and I always feel so immersed in her stories.

I'm Lynetta.
I recently stumbled across a book review of Mine til Midnight and had to read it. Since that time I gorge on Kleypas's books. Anything Kleypas goes-so much so I've read serial ooks in and out of order. The books are enjoyable in any order you read them. EVENTUALLY I WILL READ EVERY BOOK WRITTEN BY Ms. KLEYPAS. Her writings entertains, educates and seduces. Among her contemporary novels, Smooth Talking Stranger is a favorite. Jack Travis is my favorite hero.
The jury is still out on my favorite historical novel, hero and heroine; however Amelia Hathaway and Cam Rohan in the Hathaway series are worthy of mention. I look forward to participating in open discussion of Kleypas' books. None of what she writes is easily forgotten.

2. What are your favorite Lisa Kleypas books? Oh man, what didn't I like? Even my least favorites kept me interested. I loved the entire Bow Street Runners, Wallflower and Hathaway series. I also loved Then Came You and Midnight Angel. I will have to admit I haven't read any contemporaries yet, though. I've been kinda leery since I love her historicals SOOO much.
3. Who's your favorite Lisa Kleypas hero and heroine? Another hard question. She writes such great characters and such drool-worthy men. Couple? Do I have to pick one? Simon & Annabelle from Secrets of a Summer Night, Evie and St. Vincent from Devil in Winter, Luke and Anastasia from Midnight Angel. I could go on.
4. What do you like about Lisa Kleypas books? There's more depth to them than your average romance. She writes great heroes and heroines that you really learn to care about. They are also not often labeled spitfires or TSTL, although they are not perfect. They seem more like real people. She even makes me care about the side characters and often I just skip those parts in other books. I'm not an expert on 1800s England, but I do feel like I'm transported to a different time/place. It's not just "costume" historical where the H/h are 21st century minds stuffed in cravats and corsets.

Thank you for the welcome :) Yes it is so very hard to pick a favorite couple and IMPOSSIBLE to pick the best hero, IMHO. I want them all ;)

1. Ashley
2. Again the Magic, It Happened One Autumn, and Tempt Me at Twilight
3. Lillian and Marcus
4. "The Fall"… gosh, she writes the best ones. By that I mean she doesn't do what many authors do where the reader is told the two characters for no reason at all feel very attracted and connected to each other, Lisa makes me really feel them fall for each other and understand why. It's such a magical experience and she has ruined me for many other authors!

Welcome to W♥LK, Ashley! True, very true.

1. My name is Daisey.
2. Favorite books are Dreaming of You, Lady Sophia's Lover, Worth Any Price and Married by Morning
3. Favorite couple Catherine and Leo or Lottie and Nick
4. Lisa's makes her character's seem real.

1. Shuchi
2. "Dreaming of You", "Devil in Winter", "It happened one afternoon"...The entire Hathaway series and wallflowers!!
3. Fav. Couples : Derek Craven and Sara, Annabelle and Simon, Evie and St. Vincent
4. Lisa Kleypas creates a perfect story in each and every book of hers. The fictional characters seem so real, the entire setting is so beautiful and without any loophole, that you actually start living the characters, and its very easy to forget yourself and your dreary work-filled world for a few hours; and I think this is something every book lover looks for...an escape into a world, where there is love, family, fights, kisses, laughter, anguish, danger, yet all of it always has a happily ever after! :)

Thank you carol. :) The series are so complete in their own way...that by the time you finish them...you feel a part of their family and friend circle! :)
