Some of my favourites are Devil In Winter, Dreaming of You and Because You're Mine. Although Devil In Winter is my absolute favourite!
So obviously, my favourite couple is Sebastien and Evie. He's utterly divine, and she has a wonderful quiet strength to her that makes them perfect together :)
I've been reading Lisa Kleypas books for years, and I can re-read most of them, over and over. I think I love them so much primarily because of the heroes. Especially the ones who are more ruthless, and need that special woman to love. Actually, all 3 of the books I've said are my favourites have very ruthless heroes lol
Anywhos, happy to be here!

It`s been a very challenging past year. It all started with a banged-up knee, then anemia. Not too long after that, we got hit with Sandy. And now It seems my blood pressure is always dropping, so I`m had extensive cardiovascular tests to find the culprit of my never ending maladies. *sigh*
Anyway, we can always hide in a good story or have a ball with your GR friends when RL gets too much to handle; no social skills required. Whats not love about it ;)? lol
(((((((huggs))))))))))))
Hope we can see more of each other here.

Haha! I couldn`t pass that pun! ;)

I am SO ECSTATIC to have found this group. Gotta preface this by saying that I discovered Lisa Kleypas via her contemporary novels . I also recently saw that she got her start with historical romances, but I LOVE her Travis series. I was looking for kindred spirits because Gage & Liberty from "Sugar Daddy " are my absolute favorite couple. I don't understand why they haven't gotten more press.
So my questionnaire answers:
Name: Trudy
Favorite LK Books: Sugar Daddy!! , Blue-Eyed Devil!!
Favorite LK Couple/ Characters: Liberty Jones, Gage Travis, Hardy Cates, Haven Travis,
What do I like about LK books: The wit in the dialogue between her characters; the inherent sweetness of her story lines, the tight writing (nothing seems redundant or overwrought) and oh yeah...the sex is hot, but not gross!!!
I would love to hear from other folks who love Liberty & Gage. I had read the book twice, then ordered the Audible copy. I had really liked Gage & Liberty before, but once I heard Jeannie Stith narrate the Audible version, I was in love.
Sugar Daddy is one of my all-time faves. I read a lot and still they outshine everybody else.

Well? How did you like Blue-Eyed Devil? It was a hard read in the beginning, but the Haven's healing phase with Hardy was so beautiful. Would love to know what you thought.

Hi Silvia, I just joined the group. I have read all of LK's contemporary novels, but I LOVE Gage & Liberty. I don't understand why they don't get more press. To me, they are beautiful together. So, just wanted to let you know, that I agree with you 100%.

Thanks for the heads up, Lady D! Will look up "Bekah"! Feel like I've just joined a sorority. Very happy to be here!

Welcome to the group, Burbanista! I'm a huge Hardy fan and loved Blue-Eyed Devil. Here's my review :
http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...

Hello Lisa Kay! As much as I loved Sugar Daddy the Book, I am crazy about Sugar Daddy the Audiobook! I'm in 100% agreement with you that the narrator nailed Carrington's voice, but she also made Liberty as sweet and kind as I envisioned. And Gage....oh boy. Made me have to fan myself. One of my favorite lines about him: Evolved, but still a Texan. Did you listen to the audiobooks for Blue-Eyed Devil and Smooth Talking Stranger also? I didn't like those narrators as much.

I did listen to all of them on audio and enjoyed them. I remember not liking the narrator for B-ED, at first. But then, she turned the tide when she spoke as Haven with a broken jaw.
I'm super stalker-istic over STS. One of my very favorite books of all time. So, I would have to say I enjoyed it, too, on audio.

I did like STS, but I'm sorry to say, I was bothered by aspects of the story, like a mother giving her child away. I couldn't get over it. Or Ella's comically, self-centered mother. Jack Travis was awesome though.

Thanks Carol. When I clicked on your review link, I realized I had read it before. Nice to "meet" you now. Great review.

Yes, but I loved Jack stepping up to the plate and helping Ella out. And not just because he wanted to get in her pants.

Works for me. This guy's a little young, and Jack has hair on his chest, but I think he would work for as a younger version. Or even as his younger brother Joe. Joe? Where are you, Joe?

her GRs review
(she's always finding the perfect pics for the heroes).
Works for me. This guy's a little young, and Jack has hair on his chest,..."
Certainly works for me, Lisa Kay! Maybe a little too young to be Jack but he'd certainly make a yummy toy boy! *sighs*
