Okay, I will start that next!!! I can't believe I waited this long to read her books!!! So far Jack Travis is my favorite Travis but Hardy Cates is close behind!!!!
Meredith, you're in for a real treat!! LK's historicals have some of the most delicious heroes ever! I envy you reading them for the first time.

4. What do you like about Lisa Kleypas books? I love the way she writes and her characters; they are so well described that at the end you feel you know them intimately and care deeply for some.
I began with other writers and needed to reassess what I was looking in a romance novel when I got to Lisa. Even when I'm spoiled for other writers, I cannot but thank Lisa for sharing her gift.

Hi everyone. I'm Giulia.
Just started reading this author. My favourite book so far is Secrets of a Summer Night.
Favourite hero/character: Simon. It will be hard for him to be bumped back by another Kleypas hero I think.
I love that she shows us what's going on inside these characters, instead of telling us. More of that in my review of the above mentioned book lol
Trust me, not as much as I do. My house is an utter state of disarray and I didn't care because I was too busy reading about Simon lol
I know what you mean Giulia - Simon is my favorite still! Secrets of a Summer Night is the first I read as well, and I've read several more by Kleypas, but Simon is still #1 for me!
I'm not surprised lol I always love the hero in the novels I read, but some of a heck of a lot more than others.
Welcome to the group, Giulia! Simon is safe from my clutches because my favourite from the Wallflowers series is Marcus, Lord Westcliff - It Happened One Autumn.
Well, we all gotta love somebody lol I actually am really curious about Westcliff, I'll have to see which book is next in this series.

Hi everyone!I"m Karina. Just joined the group a couple days ago. I am a historical romance addict. I read anything i can get my hands on. I very much enjoyed the books of Lisa's I have read.
My favorite book of hers (so far) would be "Secrets of a Summer Night". It also was the first one of hers that I read and got me hooked.
My favorite hero is Simon. Favorite couple is Lillian and Marcus.
I look forward to reading more of LK's books :-)

2. What are your favorite Lisa Kleypas books? I haven't read many so far- I keep going back to the Hathaway family! OMG Those gypsy boys steam up the 'ol glasses!
I do have to admit that I am not interested in the modern romances much. I'm a Regency gal through and through.
3. Who's your favorite Lisa Kleypas hero and heroine? Couple? Cam Rohan and Amelia Hathaway answer both those questions. Caaaaaaaaaaaaaam!! Seriously, he's my dream man. Holy crap on a cracker.
4. What do you like about Lisa Kleypas books? SO FREAKING HOT! Seriously woman, what are you trying to do to us? The men are stubbornly likeable as well as panties-incendiary, and the women are all females I would adore in real life. Lisa creates fabulous characters with amazing lives. Her dialogue is never very campy, but often witty. I just adore her writing.

Kev I adore like the dickens, but Cam is all *Quinn grabby hands* GIMME GIMME GIMME! I could read 20 more novels about his life with Amelia. I think Amelia is the character I can relate to most of all in any book. She and I are so much alike down to using "spinster" as a shield and putting family above self.
