A warm welcome Jessie!! :)
From what I`ve read on her website, Lisa`s official page.
This are the latest news—
NEW SNEAK PEAK!!
The second book in the Friday Harbor Series: Rainshadow Road
ON BOOKSTANDS THIS FALL
A reprint of Lisa's Regency Era historical, Because You're Mine
COMING IN AUGUST
Back in print for the first time since 1988! Love Come To Me, Lisa's post-Civil War era historical.

2. So far my favorite book is Devil in Winter (but I've only read 5 of her books so far)
3. And I love, love, love Evie and Sebastian as a couple, they're perfect for each other
4. LK does tell a great story and doesn't get too hung up in big problems between the couple - I'm a McNaught fan and her books the couples always have huge misunderstandings and separations and the heroes are pretty rough - so LK seems to write a tamer hero but still lots of romance and passion. Not so much anxiety and I like that! I just ordered "Again the Magic" and hope to read it next week.

1. Name : Evelyne
2. What are your favorite Lisa Kleypas books? Scandal in spring ( I love Matthew!) and Married by morning ( Leo !)
3. Who's your favorite Lisa Kleypas hero and heroine? Couple? I adore McKenna&Aline ( again the magic) and the ubercouple Evangeline&StVincent (Devil in winter)
4. What do you like about Lisa Kleypas books? What I like? nothing : what I adore : the humour, the love, the writing, the characters, the story, everything!

ohh!! Dhes, did you just called me an outcast, and i didnt even noticed?? How rude of me LOL!
Zumbagirl, evelyn.. a warm welcome to our group!!xxxxxxx

2. Devil In Winter, Dreaming Of You, Married By Morning, Tempt Me At Twilight, Smooth Talking Stranger, Blue Eyed Devil, Give Me Tonight, A Wallflower Christmas (Rafe and Hannah story), Only In Your Arms and Because You're Mine.
3. Heroes: St. Vincent, Leo Hathway, Derek Craven, Westcliff, Maxmillian Vallerand, Zachary Bronson, Harry Rutledge, Logan Scott, Hardy Cates, Jack Travis....
Heroine: Evie.
Couples: St Vincent and Evie.
4. You know why I love Lisa Kleypas' books? Because you see, my lovelies, not only does she have great talent in writing but god dammit, am I the only one who noticed that her heroes are ALL superduperliciously outstanding than those other heroes I read from other authors?! (I'm not saying that I hate them though). Basically, her heroes always managed to capture my heart and she just have a way with words that always melt our hearts and make us squirm delightfully when it comes to the passionate love scenes. Lisa Kleypas is just too fantabulous!

1. Name : Evelyne
2. What are your favorite Lisa Kleypas books? Scandal in spring ( I love Matthew!) and Married by morning ( Leo !)"
Welcome, Evelyne! OMG, I thought never to find anyone who named SIS as their favorite LK book. I love, love that book and Matthew.:-)

I loved the lawn bowling scene so much I recapped it in my review! LOL!

I still laugh when I think of it... they played as if the fates of nations depended on the outcome...

1. Sharon
2. Favorite: Tough choice but I'll go with Again the Magic or Love in the Afternoon.... or heck just about all are my fave.
3. Favorite Couple: Beatrix + Christopher Phelan or Amelia + Cam (another tough choice)
4. What is there not to love about Kleypas' work? Every book I've read of hers I've been completely drawn in and emotionally connected to the characters. I've found myself laughing at loud and at times sobbing through stories. Her characters are perfectly imperfect and passionate. After I read Suddenly You I had to read the rest of her body of work. Wallflowers is probably the best series, but I'd recommend anything she wrote. Her contemporary series is just as good. Aw geez, I could go on forever :P
Thanks for creating this group.

Let’s start
1.Mai
2. Where Dreams Begin\ Secrets of a Summer Night\ It happened One Autumn\ Married by Morning\ Love in the Afternoon\ Scandal in spring\ Lady Sophia’s Lover.
3. Favorite hero : that is a difficult question ! ALL her males are gorgeous ! but I love Matthew Swift \ Leo Hathaway \Christopher Phealen\Grant Morgan .
Favorite Heroine: I adore Daisy Bowman and Beatrix Hathaway.
Favorite couple :Matthew Swift and Daisy Bowman I loved their sweet ,hot romance !
4. She is the best romance writer in the world !!I find everything I am looking for in a romance :
-The love ,the passion is REAL in her novels .
- The hero and the heroine convince me that they love each other and DESERVE each other and I know they will be happy with each other .
- The intensity of emotions ,the tension, the amazing chemistry between her lead characters .
- The gradual “real “ development of their love story along with the plot and events.
-I NEVER hate the heroine or the hero and would like to throttle them like most of the other romances out there. I end up loving them and caring about them ,even laughing and crying and cheering for them !!
-Her heroes are not domineering and real tyrants /jerks ..etc. Her heroes are sexy and real gentlemen ,not too perfect or too stupid to live .The are tough yet sweet all over .
-The couple have more than lust and physical desire .Even the physical act is meaningful and different to both of them.
-The dialogue is lively and rich not boring and dull. It is full of humor and wit and sometimes it is intense and moving .
- The characters are 3 dimensional and not flat. They never contradict their character .They seem to breathe in pages you feel they are real !
-The supporting characters help and enrich the novel and they are usually delightful.
-I always compare whatever I read to her novels as a kind of a criterion for high style and quality.
-her heroines are sensible and intelligent and original not too stubborn that you want to throttle them or too stupid to live .
There is a sense of affinity ,spirituality between them not just an earthly ,sexual need or desire ,,it is once in a life time love story !
Sorry I took so long but when I start talking about Ms.Kleypas and how amazing she is I can’t stop !

I am very happy to be here with people who understand and share my passion for reading !I am the only one who likes reading in my family (sniff)

Thought my family don’t like reading, they appreciate my adoration of books..Whenever there is a bookshop they "sacrifice” their shopping expedition to go with me !!
They don't even know what kind of novels I read ..In my birthday they bought for me few stories I wouldn't dream of reading !!But I liked the gesture and I feigned excitement (I never read them!! )
Thank you Carol dear for your welcome I am happy to be among you girls!!

Hey Julie !
Thank u for your welcome ..
WOW u also love Matthew and Daisy like me ?
I am crazy about them !
Their romance was so warm and sweet and progressed naturally ..
I usually hate the heroines and like the hero in most of the romances I read..
but in this case I adored Daisy !
She is adorable and I see myself sometimes in her ..
and Sometimes I feel that the male doesn't deserve the girl in many of the romances ..
but our dear Matthew proved in hundred ways that he deserves our Daisy !!

2. What are your favorite Lisa Kleypas books? I love them all! But I would have to say my favorite would be Devil in Winter followed CLOSELY by Married By Morning.
3. Who's your favorite Lisa Kleypas hero and heroine? Couple? Lord Westcliff is my favorite hero and my favorite heroine I would have to say is Evie.
4. What do you like about Lisa Kleypas books? They have everything. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll cheer them on. LOL...they aren't just "heaving bosom" novels.
