2. Devil in Winter, Dreaming of You, Suddenly You
3. Hero: I adore almost all the leading men in LK's books. -laughs- (But I am biased and I have a particular favorite) and while I'm breaching the topic of heroes, a certain quote of his comes to mind:
“This is what comes of tr…” He was forced to pause as thrills of pain stole his breath away. “…trying to appear heroic,” he finished. “I think I’ll stick with villainy from now on. Much…safer.” -Sebastian
(akldfsjlasghklkshadjfjklsdaj. I can't suppress my laughter anymore--hahaha)
Heroine: (I hope everybody understands ~how biased I am. lol) The heroine would be Evie. -smiles-
I also love Lillian from It Happened One Autumn. She's actually my favorite wallflower. When I first read the start of the series I ~knew her story would be my favorite. Oh but clearly the Devil in Winter changed that. Evie is such a precious character I don't blame Sebastian at all for his extreme adoration for her
Couple: OK, reaching this part is making me appear more and more predictable. It's Sebastian and Evie. It seems I am forever incapable of shocking people.
4. What I absolutely love in LK's books is that it's heartwarming, and the characters are so lovable. She's a great storyteller and you don't get a chance to doubt that nor stop yourself from rooting for the couple. I'm still in an LK bookathon and while I think nothing will beat the feat that Devil in Winter has raised in my favorites list, I know her other books will also prove to be closest to my heart
Have a great day everybody!

Plus I'm glad to find we agree about the ~Lisa Kleypas effect, Dhes :D and Thank you <3

1 - my name is hanie
2 - above all others i really love Smooth Talking Stranger... simply awesome :)
3 - Oh definitely, jack travis and ella varner
4 - lisa kleypas' stories and characters are in depth and they not only have to confront external struggles but also their internal forebodings. the way she makes the character grow in the story is simply ingenious. she's a real good storyteller.
and that is simply what makes her an awesome writer! :)

Laura Landon

1.my name is constanza plz call me conty : )
2. its hard to choose but i would say devil in winter
tempt me at twilight and sundely you
3. my fav hero is ST vincent i adore him! close in second place is Harry Rutledge and i have a soft spot for Westcliff too
my favorite heroine is
evie i love her quiet strength
and fav couple...... evie and sebastian are by far my favorite couple but i have a thing for poppy and harry too
4. What do you like about Lisa Kleypas books?
well she brings something different to the plate
usually when you read a book you have to choose if you want real romance or humor you never get both but with lisa kleypas is different in every book you get great humor lost of romance and accion and what i like the most are her characters

2. Fave(s)? I really enjoyed Blue Eyed Devil and Smooth Talking Stranger (Haven't read Sugar Daddy yet). But So far I think my favorite is Secrets of a Summer Night (Even though Prince of Dreams made me cry).
3. Favorite couple?...hmmmm...I'm going to go with Hardy and Haven. The book kind of describes them as the odd couple. He's big, she's little. LOVE IT!
4. I agree with a lot of the comments before me. Lisa Kleypas, like Nora Roberts and Stephanie Laurens, is an exceptional story teller. The way she puts a sentence together and the comprises a book is truly magical!

Also, I joined this group several months ago but didn't introduce myself. Other than listing my books (which I'm way behind in doing, again!) I couldn't quite figure out my way around GR. There's a lot here to investigate and contemplate. Finally, I think I have it figured out, so now, I'm OFF and running! I think I've joined about four groups by now. I better quit now and give things a chance to "jell". :)

It made me cry too, Janelba. I loved the book. :)

2. Favorite Lisa Kleypas books? My firsts were the Wallflowers...but sadly, I am a book ho. Usually, whatever book I am reading, that is usually my favorite...until the next book...sigh, like I said, 'book ho'.
3. Who's your favorite Lisa Kleypas hero and heroine? Couple? See Answer 2
4. What do you like about Lisa Kleypas books? The heroines in the LK books that I have read have been strong women (even if they don't think so, ie Eve). The men have been strong yet not overbearing. The men encourage the women to be even stronger. Yet, these are fun reads.

My favorite Lisa Kleypas books are the Hathaway series (it is hard to pick one favorite out of the series as I loved them all), Then Came You, Stranger in my Arms and Suddenly You.
My favorite couples? Jack Devlin and Amanda Briars, Kev Merripen and Winnifred Hathaway and Alex Raiford and Lily Lawson. My favorite heroine and hero: now that is a tough one and all I can say is that I loved them all.
Lisa Kleypas writes such romantic and passionate stories. The characters in her books are always interesting and fun and that is why she is one of my favorite romance writers.
