Hi Shelly!
Another audio lover. Woo Hoo!! don't know what I would do as I drive my kids to and from swim meets w/o audio books! (using headphones of course - one anyway - wouldn't want to shock them!)
BTW: The audios of the Wallflowers and the Hathaways are great!

Way too robotic sounding.
If you want to listen to the books definitely invest in the audio version with the professional readers. a reader can make or break the story. I hate to admit it but I wasn't crazy about Outlander when I read it. Then I got a copy of the audio from my library. WOW!! Davina Porter makes the story come alive. On the other side though, I got an audio of Wicked Intentions by Hoyt and HATED it. I just got a hardcopy to see if it was the book or the reader that was so bad. I usually love Hoyt.

I download the audiobooks from my library for free, at least a great deal of them. I also use Audible. I just finished Mine Till Midnight, and of course, Cam is hot, but I wasn't so into Amelia. So excited to have discovered this group!!!

I'm jealous of your library. I live in a very small town in Alabama that has a teeny, tiny library with only a few audios on hand. Audible is great. PBS is another good source of audios. I have several buddies there that always give each other heads up when they are ready to post audios.

2. Dreaming of you
3. Derek Craven has played a huge part in my love of romance novels. My favorite love scene of all time is of Derek and Sara..."sometimes i want to punish you a little..." if you've read it you know what I mean!
4. I love the fact that in every single book the hero/heroine is someone I care about and want to root for...like Sugar Daddy- Liberty.
A sign of a good author for me is when I dont want the book to end. That at last page I give a sigh and say that was amazing. And Lisa's books do that for me. As a mother, books are my escape from the crazy, hectic reality of my life and I look forward to the time I spend with my nose in a book.
