Introductions

I'm Judy I just joined this group. I really haven't read Lisa Kleypas books.
The book I have is Sugar Daddy. I've heard a lot of good things about the book. I read the back and it looks very interesting.
My favorite couple is Oliver Barrett and Jenny Cavalieri in Love Story.
My favorite heroine is Stephanie Plum.

We are getting ready to kick off a monthly group read of Lisa's books that might work for you!
Welcome!
Now I'm off to check out this Oliver and Jenny in Love Story!!
:-)
Oh have you heard they're gonna be making a movie of the Stephanie Plum series?

3. It's hard to pick one each.... Favorite Hero: Marcus Lord Westcliff, Derek Craven, and Jack Travis; Favorite Heroine: Lillian Bowman and Amanda Briars; Favorite Couple: Westcliff and Lillian, Sara and Derek... This is tough.
4. Lisa Kleypas books never fail to meet all my romantic needs in a story and each one is just as fantastic as the last. 2012 cannot come soon enough.

:-)

2. I've only just discovered the wonderful Lisa Kleypas. I flew through her Hathaway series and want to read every thing else by her - but not too quickly.
3. I adored all of the books but my favorites couples are Poppy/Harry and Beatrix/Christopher.
4. I love the way LK tells her stories; they are romantic, funny and sexy all mixed together. At least the Hathaway stories were. I'm hoping this is true with her other books.
Thanks for having this wonderful group. I'm looking forward to participating.

1. I'm KatLynne.
2. My favorite LK books are: Dreaming Of You; Again The Magic; Devil In Winter; and Suddenly You.
3. My favorite hero/heroine: Sebastian & Evie
I also love Dereck Craven and Jack Devlin.
4. What do I like about LK books?
Her fabulous talent of pulling me into the story and keeping me enthralled until the very end. Her heroes are to die for, the pages sizzle, I laugh and I love smart, intelligent heroines. I love her historicals as well as her contemporaries.
I am so excited to be part of this group and look forward to participating!

Favorites are: Love in the Afternoon and Married by Morning, and I also loved Suddenly You. I am right smack in the middle of Worth Any Price, hello Nick! Yum.
Her stories are the perfect blend of humor and romance, and I am smitten with her heroes. Plus, no one writes a love scene quite like her.

Ordinarily I am a paranormal reader, my favorite authors being women like Gena Showalter and Sherrilyn Kenyon, but a couple of months ago I decided to have a go at historical romance and I am so glad I did because LK is phenomenal!
My favorite, by far, was Stranger In My Arms because it actually made me cry and I'm not one to usually cry that easily, lol!
Are there any other authors out there that are even comparable to LK, seeing how I'm new to this whole historical romance thing??

Welcome. I'm new here too! I have to go pick up my little one, but I'll think up my list and add it when I can.
Ok, back.
Loretta Chase, Anne Stuart, Judith McNaught (Historicals), Eloisa James, Julia Quinn, Laura Lee Gurhke... and Of course LK! There are just so many!
Top Romances of All Time
1. 9 Rules to Break When Romancing a Rake (Sarah Maclean)
2. Almost Heaven (Judith McNaught)
3. The Perfect Rake (Anna Gracie)
4. Guilty Pleasures (Laura Lee Gurhke)
5. The Devil in Winter (Lisa Kleypas)
6. Dreaming of You (Lisa Kleypas)
7. Scandalous Love ( Brenda Joyce)
8. After Innocence (Brenda Joyce)
9. When Angels Fall (Meagan McKinney)
10. Whitney, My Love (Judith McNaught)
11. Romancing Mr. Bridgerton (Julia Quinn)
12. A Scandalous Pursuit (Ava Stone)- she is a brand new author!
Not necessarily in order.
All of these books can be read by themselves. Mostly it's the love for a particular book that gets me into an author.
