How Many Books Did You Read in 10/How many so far in 2011?

nice i might of had more though i don't know

I only kept record from June, so I know that I read 51 books June-December, but I'm not really sure how many I read before that. And my goal for 2010 is to at least one book every week.

      Exactly 57. I kept count.
No doubt there will be less this year, as i intend on reading a few Stephan Kings :S
Also, i made contest called BOOK CHARACTER OF THE YEAR, where i choose up to 5 characters from each book i read, then every 2 months, i choose the best 5 in total.
So by the end there is 30 characters, they randomly get put against each other, and by elimination, i find my favorite character :)
Here are my top 4:
1) Skullduggery Pleasant
2) Elinor Loredan (inkheart)
3)Jacob Black
4) Jack Salmon (Lovely BOnes)
A lot of good characters did not make it past the first round though, beacsue good characters came up against winners.

Hmm. Where might I find a list of all the books I read? Oh, yeah. I'm on goodreads. :)I started my goodreads account in 09, so most of the books on there were read in 09. So, if that's right, about 200. I tend to reread a lot, though. So a few of them may have been first read years ago.
I can usually read two fiction books a week, sometimes more. This year, I've had a class that I have to read a ton for, so that's cut back on my leisure reading a bit.

You should definitely read classics. They're awesome. Which are you considering?
Classics are awesome.Though sometimes they can be boring, at least to me. Ooh are Luisa May Alcotts books classic? I love those books!

I have no idea how many books I read in 2009, though I plan to keep a better track of the ones I read in 2010. In 2009, I probably read somewhere around 50 books.I also plan to read many of the classics. I'm on Pride & Prejudice right now, and I plan to read more of Jane Austen's work.
I saw that, lolz. I think I'll make that my goal- and rereading books counts. lolz. if you think about it, you need to read a book roughly every 3 days to get 100 in. lol. as there and 365 days in a year.

i didnt read as mush books but i read a lot of anime
15 anime books and 2 regular chapter books...

last year I'm sure I reached 50... but maybe not 100. cause last year we've had our national exams so I focused more on that rather than reading..

In 2009 I think a read around 40 to 50 books. This year I'm trying to read at least 75. Hopefully more!!

At school we have this thing called a reading challenge and we have to count how many books we read from February to August. I read 130 for that so I'm guessing I read around 150 books. What was really amazing though was that two kids in the year below me read 505 books EACH!!! :O

okay! I am also going to fit in my usual YA books around them, so there may be a little while between them. lolz. So far on my 'classics' to-read list I have Wuthering Heights, and Sense and Sensibility at the top and Jane's others below them. any recommendations about specific ones I need to read?

I lost count at around 250. And that was in, like, March. So, *takes out calculator* that would be about 1000 books. And I don't think that's all. That would mean per month, I would read about 83 books per month. I have waaay too much time on my hands.

I read Breaking Dawn in about a day and a half (after dinner one day, all day the next). If I have free time, I can finish HP7 in a day, too.But lately? What's free time?

      yes, i know...sadly.
2 nights ago i stayed up until 1:30 reading BONE MAGICIAN from the halfway mark until the ending.
Fantastic book, and its the first time i have stayed up so long reading since HARRY POTTER 7

Yeah I thought so too, but they still get credit for it, which I don't think is really that fair.

i actually cant read something for that long. Not anymore, at least. If I read for too long at one time, i start to get really distracted and kind of bored... that might just be a "getting older" thing though
