You WILL cry at the end, unless you're a robot or a vampire or non-human or evil...

I went to the library to get a couple books to last me through the weekend till monday when my friend's gonna loan me the first Mortal Instruments book. Instead I got more than 1 or 2. I got 5 (though does the Night World Book count as 3?) lolz:Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side
Night World, No. 1: Secret Vampire; Daughters of Darkness; Spellbinder
Epitaph Road
Saving Maddie
and Sweet Little Lies
I went to town to buy Everwild, but then came back with not only Everwild, but also The Five People You Meet in Heaven, The Road and The Slap
I'm not sure how many, but it's a lot. I read two nooks this weekend.

I'm about to read Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side as soon as I finish my stupid research paper... we'll probably be reading it @ the same time, like with THE RED NECKLACE :DDD
I just finished Jessica's Guide yesterday. It was one of the best romance books that I've read. :) The transition for Jess falling in love with *the unnamed character* was SOOOO believable. Most of the time the female lead falls in love with the guy b/c he's *hot*, but honestly, Beth Fantaskeyknows how to write a believable romance situation. hahaa. You're really going to like it, Amelia.
So far this year I have read....I don't know. I finished "Betsy's River Adventure" last year and this year I just started reading "Kate and the Spies".
Ive probably read 10? or 12? books this year, but I don't keep track and don't ALWAYS have one on hand (sometimes I don't make it to the library)):!!!
I've read 28 so far :) With re-reads, probably much more
Lindsey wrote: "I picked up Enna Burning and the 3rd Artemis Fowl book today!"Enna Burning is really good. You read Goose Girl, yes?
Yes yes! Also Princess Acadamy, but I know they arn't connected. Both very good, I'm excited to read Enna Burning!
Oooh, I liked Princess Academy too. Enna Burning wasn't my favorite of the four, but it's still good.
Princess Acadamy ws the first of hers that I read. I am fully expecting to enjoy Enna. Oh, I've got to finish rereading Anne of the Island first though. I'm almost done and it's my favorite in the series, plus I havn't even gotten to the best part yet, so I have to finish :D

( sorta )* COVER YOUR EARS IF YOU HAVE NOT READ* http://www.bethfantaskey.com/wedding/... TA DAAAAA The wedding of jESS AND * Unnamed* It like a whole book seriously ;) Happy Reading btw check out my new blog http://badassbookie.blogspot.com/ Im writing this in like everyone of my posts ;)
nice! i've been meaning to go check it out since i read the book- but i'll have to do it (both) later- im about to leave for a church dinner.
lolz. ya, it was fun. my youth group and i helped serve and stuff at this dinner and we ended up just havin' a grand ole time. hahaa
that reminds me i have to do community and service before exam week to get credit *sigh* i never have the time
lol backwards xD.That sounds like alot of fun! I did something like that one time, but It was several years ago...
last year I wasn't really keeping track, but I think I read at least 40. So far this year I have managed to read 84.my favorite books for this month:
Abarat by Clive Barker
and
Lord Loss(The Demonata book 1) by Darren Shan
I read 22 books so far, and that includes 2 re-reads.My favorites so far this year are:
The Return of the King
The Giver
Life as We Knew It
To Kill a Mockingbird
Fahrenheit 451
Ender's Game
Wow, that's a lot of books! But yeah, one thing I like about summer is that I have the time to read books. :)
Exactly! My summer break is all about reading. I practically live at my local bookstore and library!
I'm in the premiers reading challenge this year and last year as well, so I've been reading through the bit list. The challenge only counts from February to August so it's not a full year but it's close enough.Last year, my target was to read more than anyone else in year 7 or 8 to win a $25 book voucher. I read 86 books- around 20 more than the person who came second!
This year I plan to read 100 books, so far I've read 53. I hope to win again- books are expensive!
