We may have to wait until Wed. because there's no school Mon. and it'll probably be pretty chaotic Tues. with the change. You could check with the other former team readers to see if anybody else would be interested in stopping by.

Maybe we could have a "current and former team reading day" in some common area once a week or something... just a thought. just throwing out ideas here. so sue me.

I miss that group. I'll try to "sneak out" of CAP every now and then to stop by. :)

message 354: by Philip, co-moderator-raider (new)

Philip (philiphabecker) | 391 comments Mod
hmmmm... try reading that again.

individual CAP classes don't get announced at convo.

So, do you think you'll stop by sometime? Mrs. Schoenherr should me some cool possible reading nooks today. (As long as she allows access to them and the band isn't blasting away...)

That hallway may be too echoey though...

I think 5 or 6... Mr. Riegsecker will post the full stats up on his website in the next day or so.

It was you, Joel, Ivan, Nathan, Ben... am I missing someone? (Sorry, friend. I know it's not late, but it sure feels late... I'm going to bed.)

I mean, I'm glkaing to bed. There Kelsey, now you can complain about how I'm always messing up on my spelling. :)

Kelsey | 700 comments Mod
how you do it?

message 370: by Philip, co-moderator-raider (new)

Philip (philiphabecker) | 391 comments Mod
not sure about the CAP...

the tag for spoiler is <> with spoiler between those

write what you want to be hidden behind the spoiler tag,

then <> with /spoiler between those...

I can't post it that way, or you wouldn't be able to read it... read it. (view spoiler)

Kelsey | 700 comments Mod

message 372: by Jimmy (new)

Jimmy converse (nbj55) | 359 comments I think your supposed so to put the /spoiler in the <>,

Jimmy converse (nbj55) | 359 comments ok, I didn't

message 374: by Philip, co-moderator-raider (last edited Jan 24, 2011 05:11PM) (new)

Philip (philiphabecker) | 391 comments Mod
you guys are soo close. pretend that the number 6 is the word "spoiler" ... it would look like this: <6> i'm spoiling something 6>

if you did it with the word "spoiler" instead of "6" it would look like this: (view spoiler)

the arrow is the code that tells computers you're starting something. the slash inside the arrow means what you've started is over.

message 375: by Jimmy (new)

Jimmy converse (nbj55) | 359 comments (view spoiler) ok, let's see if I did it right now.

BAM!!!

Nice job Mr. HTML formatting. : )

Jimmy, I'm recommending that book to you. Put it on your goodreads shelf. : )

message 378: by Kelsey, moderator (new)

Kelsey | 700 comments Mod
ya lol i think i got it (view spoiler)

message 379: by Jimmy (new)

Jimmy converse (nbj55) | 359 comments Ok, it may be my uncle, looking through it the summary of it, from South Bend, Indiana, that is about the where my uncle was from, idk when to his death, and also the date, '79, so it is very plausible that it was my uncle, but also looking at James Converse's goodreads page, one of his books, Uncle Sam's Bible or Bible Teachings about Politics, was in 2007, was way way after my uncle died, and my uncle wasn't very religious also, so maybe that is my uncle, but it was confused with that James Converse.

message 380: by Jimmy (new)

Jimmy converse (nbj55) | 359 comments @kelsey, you have nothing, did you put something between the <> and <>?

message 381: by Philip, co-moderator-raider (new)

Philip (philiphabecker) | 391 comments Mod
@Kelsey, what are you doing?

by the way, goodreads also supports some other html. the easy stuff is italics - i, bold - b, strike - s, and underline - u.

So... in the carrots this is italics this is bold this text is struck out and this is underlined Pretty nifty, huh?

I don't think facebook supports html though, so you can't wow your friends with your vast computer knowledge.

Another cool one is if you want to link to a book or author, alls you have to do is type book:Fear in Algeria inside these brackets [ ] ...like this Fear in Algeria same thing with an author... author:Guillermo Del Toro inside the brackets [ ] ... like this Guillermo Del Toro ... then it links it for you... : ) Ta da.

Brittney | 288 comments

message 385: by Brittney (new)

Brittney | 288 comments nope , not it either..

message 386: by Philip, co-moderator-raider (new)

Philip (philiphabecker) | 391 comments Mod
... seriously? it's not that difficult.

<6> write something 6> instead of "6" write "spoiler" or "i" or "u" just make sure you put the carrots before and after whatever it is that you write...

message 387: by Philip, co-moderator-raider (new)

Philip (philiphabecker) | 391 comments Mod
waiting... : )

message 388: by Philip, co-moderator-raider (new)

Philip (philiphabecker) | 391 comments Mod
copy and paste this: <6> write something 6>

then delete both number 6s and write the letter i instead and repost it.

message 389: by Brittney (new)

Brittney | 288 comments hmph, you should show how to do the whole thingy again with the number 6, cuz i still cant get it! lol

message 390: by Philip, co-moderator-raider (new)

Philip (philiphabecker) | 391 comments Mod
did you copy and paste?

message 391: by Philip, co-moderator-raider (new)

Philip (philiphabecker) | 391 comments Mod
do what message 392 says...

message 392: by Philip, co-moderator-raider (new)

Philip (philiphabecker) | 391 comments Mod
write the letter "i" instead of the 6...

you'll get it.

message 393: by Jimmy (new)

Jimmy converse (nbj55) | 359 comments can you have more than 1 HTML in one line? like italics and underline?

message 394: by Philip, co-moderator-raider (new)

Philip (philiphabecker) | 391 comments Mod
yeah, but it has to be formatted correctly... like this

If italics is 1, underline is 2, and strike is 3, it would look like this: <1><2><3>like this3>2>1>

...I think.

Brittney: Did you read message 392 yet?

message 395: by Brittney (new)

Brittney | 288 comments i think i got this!

message 396: by Brittney (new)

Brittney | 288 comments ugh, that was italics. lol btw Habecker, i didn't realize you were on the same time i was last nite and that you were posting. sorry!
