Well, I thought about that because Christianity is unique in the sense that that the christian god is called differently in different languages, unlike in Islam or Judaism where it's always called Allah or Yahweh no matter what language you speak.

Going back to what you said, circa message 505, I'm not sure that's right.

The Christian God is called Yahweh in all languages since It is the God of Judaism as well. Jesus Christ (as God) is called other names in other cultures because as He was part man, they pronounce the names of men differently - as I was Feeleep in both Haiti and Croatia...et al...

Besides, YHWH wasn't the only name given to the Jewish God, just as Allah isn't the only name given to the God of Islam. (Al-Malik for instance is the name/attribute Allah-King. It's much like El Shaddai is God (referencing YHWH, not Allah) Almighty...)

Both my dad and I thought it was next Saturday, and I did have fun walking in my boredom, I was at my friends house. So how did everyone do at it?

Surprisingly, SURPRISINGLY well. CJHS came in 3rd out of 7, which means we can advance to state if we want to go.

CIS came in 6th out of 20, which means they get to advance to state if they want to go.

Eastside played well, but not well enough to advance.

...I don't know if I should tell you that all 8th and under teams were able to advance, no matter what place we came in... :) It doesn't make it sound quite as...

Yeah, I was glad. I was kindof bummed for you, because you would have done well. They can be long days though. Besides, there's still more chess to play. We've got a couple tournaments coming up. (I probably won't be at those, but they're still good ones.)

We all know that S block will surely lose, I've seen at convo alone about 2 people put a $20 in there, so S block have a lot, let me rephrase that A LOT of catching up to do. Unless someone from S block bombs another block with a million dollars or has ∞ pennies, S block will lose.

man, i don't know why i stopped getting these updates. it really bums me out. i'm glad i thought to come back here and check up on it though.

i've bombed (and air raided) S block several times now. and thanks to two people that shall remain nameless i've led an air-raid against J block.

richline says she has a dress that she thinks will fit me, but i'm confident she'll be wearing... i don't know... something humiliating to say the least.
