I hope you know that question got a lot of people mad at me! I was truly afraid of asking! It seems americans are really touchy when it comes to fatty jokes!
Some argued it was about gender... glad you see it as it is; just good old Americana vanity. Even those of us that say we don't care what we look like really do.
no sorry it is not. it could have been a 350lb guy that ordered the same thing it had nothing to do with it being a big"girl". I understand you are hypersensitive about gender issues Donna, but that doesn't mean anytime a woman is mentioned it is the next battle in the great gender war.
The subject was not the woman.the subject was the order of over 3000 cals followed by a diet coke. The overweight women is an interchangeable componte of the story. It would make no difference if she was a he/midget/giant/squirrel... well ok it would have been different if a squirrel was involved but...

I wasn't calling you hypersensitive because of this one disagreement.(though I did not see that part.) It is a re-occurring theme. And I think it is the only area that we (you and I) consistently(100% of the time it seems)"disagree" on. I would like to change that. I can not believe that we are a lost cause when it comes to the gender debate.

4) you realized that was the first time you called her Donna and you wrote it in that cute accent.
5) you don't like it, but you didn't change it! You just thought it through your fingers and typed it!
