message 54: by Shannon (new)

Shannon (theholyterror) Hmm, I was going to start that one later this week. Was it that bad?

message 55: by Lenore (new)

Lenore (lenorenrr) No, I wouldn't say bad. Three to three and a half stars for me. It was good enough I read Child of Darkness. That one was not so good. I can read a book in 3 hours and that one took me 3 weeks. Here is my review for both if you are interested:

PRJ is a site run by me. The honest reason? Mostly I just forget. Because I am on my site for that reason so much, it is just easy for me to post there. Here, I mostly use for keeping track of my books and talking to others.

Putting my reviews there also helps site traffic.

Ah, ok. Makes sense. I'm more likely to read your reviews if you post them on here though, and I'd vote for them too! But if having them only on your site drives traffic and makes you money, then I can see why you'd do that!

It just didn't grab me. I'm not really sure what the problem was, maybe the dominance thing with the queen/male servant part. It was one of those books that was just okay and I was glad it was over if you know what I mean. I have the second book in the series but I'm in no rush to read it. I think my 3 star rating was kind of generous. I've read worse but I've read a whole lot better.

Thanks Lenore! I loved the Patricia Briggs books. As a series, Mercy Thompson was more up my alley than Alpha & Omega, but I would still recommend them both.
