I plan on reading it at some point for the 25.5 Read a fiction and non-fiction book about the same era, person, theme or event, etc. – task

I'm having trouble finding one about a time period I know nothing about because I think I've read a little from just about every time period. I'm sure I'll run across something eventually.
Holly, for the time period task, you can read something about a time period for a specific place you've never read before.
Like, for instance, if you have read about the early 1900s in America or Europe but haven't read about the early 1900s in Africa, I'll accept that for the task.
It might make it a little easier to find something. :)

thoughts? was it just me having an issue with audio and ruining a good book for myself or was it boring as all hell?
Jon wrote: "are we still docking a point for audio Becks? doesnt mention in the rules this time unless i missed."
Umm... I don't think that I put it in the rules this time, so no. Forgot all about it, you know!

H..i think your prob right - i might well have liked it reading, will i never learn, i like the idea of audio much better than the reality - our heads are so much cleverer at creating the world than oscar winning actors!

Jon wrote: "oh..and i hate to ask this one, but did you say if a task says read a book - not specifying HF book, then doesnt have to be HF. I really dont mind if the answer is no seeing as this IS an HF challe..."
Right... if it just says "read a book" or something, and doesn't say "HF" or anything indicating Historical Fiction, then it can be any genre.

The rules say all books must be HF unless otherwise specified. However, if the task says "read a book" vs. "read a HF", then I will allow a different genre. :)
