What are you reading right now? Part Deux!

The other is that although annoying and bimbo as she was, the story was good enough to make me curious about what's next.
I just finished with Ink.
This was a 4 star book for me. It was a quiet, sweet telling of a love story. The main characters are both males so this story may not be for everyone. There was little sex in the story & what was done was very tastefull. It fit with the style of the story. It has the typical set up of broody vampire meets kind & open human who is going to change vampire. But it's done differently than most other stories & it's done well. This was the first time I had read a m/m relationship (unless you count the beating around the bush done n BDB) so I wasn't sure what I would think. I found that it didn't matter at all as the love that was the focus of the story is what stood out and grabbed my attention. I totally recommend it to those of you who haven't read it yet.
Finished
so I dunno I liked it. I think the last book ended so perfectly I think my expectations for Chess were to high. I was hoping she would you know get a clue and stop whining. Oh well it was a good book. Love Terrible and I really missed Bump he is so funny!
Recently finished
I really liked this series. I don't usually feel emotional over books but these had me all over the place. It keeps you guessing constantly as to what will happen next & there are no clear cut good guys/bad guys.
I'm now trying to clear out some "old school" books from my TBR pile for the new year. Currently reading
I have finished a few
I began a new series and I've finished two books out of five so far. The series is by Thea Harrison, its called Elder Races
I am currently reading the third book in the series
I'm enjoying it. I wouldn't call it a "page turner;" but with the holidays and everything going on, it's a book that can be picked up and put down easily. I have several PNR books and cozies in the TBR waiting in the wings for a less hectic day.

is much better. There is a lot more action.
Finished
, it was a fun reading, too YA, too predictable, plot not that original, but I liked Sophie a lot, and will continue with the series.Started
, and as everybody said, I am liking it a lot. I'm predicting a read-all-that-there-is-out-there-till-no-book-or-short-storie-available-left kind of mood. :o)

Finished
Mark of the Witch was interesting. I think I may try to read the next one, but I hated the ending it was not like a cliffhanger but it just ended...weird!
@Dawn it's tied with the third one as my favorite, maybe even a little bit better.I've started
and I'm enjoying it more than I thought I would
I finished the third book in the Elder Races series
I'm now on the fourth book in the series
I'm actually liking this series.I'm also doing a reread on
just finished
and holly crap!! i was totally speechless at the end.i NEED the next book NOW! i MUST know what happens next!!!!
Finished
and liked it a lot! Either the writing and the main character are improving... I liked it so much that I started
10 minutes later :o)
Ok I need to check out the Lux series everyone seems to be raving about it :-)Finished Tangle of Needthe romance was underwhelming to say the least but I did enjoy all of the side characters and it got me thinking..what happened to Clay from Mine to Possess? Or Sophia the Justice Psy...it also seems like she is about to conclude this story arc, I heard the series is not over with. It will be interesting to see what happens to the world after the civil war.

but in a very "this is kind of cheesy and YAish, but OMG I can't put it down" kind of way. The second one was a bit too much teen angst for me, but it left me curious enough that I'll still read the third.
Dawn wrote: "Finished
really glad I did not buy it."Oh darn! I did buy it. I haven't been able to motivate myself to read it after the last one.

I can say without hesitation it gets better at the end but the beginning is very slow.
I enjoyed
and now I'm reading
with Nairabell. I wanted to get to this series before the movie comes out, otherwise I'd never read it.
After reading
back to back, I needed a break from such an intense series. Just finished
yesterday. Loved it - 4.5 ★★★★! My TBR list is so long now, thanks to so many good recommendations, I'm having a hard time deciding what to read next. I've heard good things about
so that might be it. Or maybe
...
And, if anyone is interested,
is on sale for .99 at Amazon through New Years;
is also .99 at Amazon, but I don't know how long.

I'm currently reading two books. I don't usually read more than one at a time but neither are really drawing me in. They're both not bad but the plots seem to be moving along slowly. Especially the Showalter one. Definately not one of her better books.

? That sounds really good.

Emotional roller coaster, Alisa! And it's wonderful!
Lisarenee wrote: "That was me. :)"Oops.....well that was me being totally unhelpful....
(in my defense I'm super sick & riding on a Nyquil high..lol)
I'm reading
and for a new author she's awesome. I love the back story, there's lost of sizzle, and I'm actually learning something lol. I had no clue Japan was the first Asian country to allow a woman to become Empresses. I'm just about finished, and lovin every bit of it. You learn something in each of her books...
