I just finished Cry Wolf by Patirica Briggs. I love her writing. I really liked Cry Wolf, I can not wait to read the second book in that series. I read the first meeting of Anna and Charles before like advised and REALLY loved that short story. It is in the book On the Prowl for those who have not read this book series yet. Huge fan of PG! Everyone is recommended to read this series.

Martina--her health has been really, really bad the last 10 or so years. She was making an effort to get to Dragoncon in Atlanta every year, but I believe she's even stopped that. She is on massives doses of blood thinners, so when we saw her there, the Con had about a dozen gofers surrounding her at all times, to keep her fans back. She was also in a wheelchair. Mentally, she was still very sharp. She was really shocked when she saw my Restoreecopy. But then again--we fans DO tend to get a little um, well, I guess there is a REASON that FAN is the first first 3 letters in FANatic, right? :o) I have most of her books, but I haven't been quite as fanatical about her later works. The writer that I AM fanatical about is author:Andre Norton|4766]. I have multiple copies (different covers designs/styles) of most of her books. I'm missing 2 that were very limited runs, and that if I spent what the hucksters are asking for them (really BAD condition copy of one was $600) my hubby would have either 1) killed me or 2) divorced me. Sigh, but someday I'll find them at a yard sale/thriftstore or used bookstore where they don't know what they have. :o)

Truly, Madly was so good!! Lucy Valentine is a clairvoyant of sorts in that she can locate missing items when she touches the person to whom the item belongs. This gift leaves her feeling inferior to the rest of the Valentine family who can match people to their perfect soul mate – a more noble & glamorous calling than finding lost keys. The fun starts when Lucy shakes hands with a guy wondering what happened to the heirloom engagement ring he gave his ex-fiancé and Lucy sees it on the hand of a skeleton. A great blend of mystery, humor, romance, and sixth senses. I got this through a book give-away so it won’t be in stores until February, but they gave away like 500 of them on goodreads, so I’m guessing others in this group have it on their shelves by now.

Embrace the Night is even faster-paced than the last Cassie Palmer - could not put the book down! I still adore Pritkin, as maddening as he is, and loved that the author brought in more street kids.

I'm afraid I probably wouldn't give it a proper review without ruining the story for those of you that may want to read it someday, but Requiem for the Devil by Jeri Smith-Ready is one of the best love stories that I've read!
