With the year coming to an end, I have to say, I can not wait for the next Kim Harrison book to come out!! I love the Hollows series. Harrison writes such amazing characters. Bless Tinks Pink Tits should be a drinking game! I love Jinks and Rachel out on runs. There is no telling what is coming up that the Hollows crew will find themselves in. I really want to know if when Rachel made Jinks bigger if it made his lifespan longer. I have so many questions that I can not wait to see if they are going to be answered!!

Yes I can't wait for that either, I am saddened by the whole lifespan thing and really hope that she can find a solution that will fit in with the story to keep him around.If she doesn't I think it will ruin the books for me because he is my favorite character in the series.

Kim Harrison runs her own facebook page. She is really cool. She will reply to your post and everything. She had it posted there.

I've never read anything by her. What kinds of books does she write? What book would you recommend starting with?

I didn't notice any spoilers but I did see that Kim's favourite book so far is book 9 - the one after BMS. Apparently Trent & Rachel go on a road trip together and the word "fling" was mentioned, hmm...
I just read the first 8 chapters, this book is going to be great! Worth waiting a year for. I like Trent. I have wanted him and Rachel together since the start. He is a pain in the butt, but I just love him! Thank the stars Ivy is moving on! Best friends not lovers for me, I just don't see that for them.

Kim revealed in the Bitten by Books chat that Jenks will have a the opportunity for a longer life but it will come at a price.

Just finished Black Magic Sanction and thought it was great! I love how action packed KH's series are. Love this series!! That Nick needs to be put down! What a turd head!

I started reading Kims books on Valentines day and two days later had her first 6 books. I Just finised Demon Wails and would have gotten the others but Barnes and Nobel were sold out. :(

I just read that KH does not think Trent and Rache will be one another's HEA. I think the ending of BMS will bring them closer, but I like them to be one another HEA. I guess we have to wait and see. Booo!
I have always wanted to see Trent and Rachel end up together. Yes they irritate each other, but that is part of the fun.
I'm not sure about Trent, I think he needs to man up a bit as he always gets everyone else to do the dirty work.It also doesn't help that in every description of him KH talks about his white blond baby soft hair.

LOL! I agree, there is something missing with Trent. I would just like them to hook up once. I am such a perv, I want to know if elves do something special while in bed like the witches.
I don't know if I care if Trent and Rachel end up together, but I wouldn't mind seeing them just get together for one night. With the way they argue, it would definitely be something interesting with them in bed together.

I think that in Black Magic Sanction Rachel has started seeing several of the men in her life in a different light. I'm curious to see where she goes from here!

I think they act like children because they knew each other then. Granted Rachel doesn't remember most of it, but Trent does. Makes you really wonder especially after the last book where she used the Pandora charm.
It is interesting to me that I'm not the only one who sees this book as a time when Rachel starts to grow up. Because I think she has crossed a doorway. Too much has been thrown at her and innocence is gone. And she has just plain had enough. At one point she tells Al "that doesn't work any more." He seems both disappointed and really glad that it doesn't work any more.
I quite like Al, evil as he's meant to be I think he's pretty fond of Rachel.
My book came today and I am about half way done...LOVING IT, anyway about Al I love the part when Rachel realizes she can threaten Al but Pierce cannot.Al is super funny to me I love it when he calls Rachel his itchy witch.
I love AL!!! I think he is an amazing character. Harrison descibes him so well. I have a picture of him in my head, those eyes peeking over his sunglasses saying, "my itchy witch". I wished he was in the book more. I am happy they finally switched demon names back. I thought it was crazy she didn't ask sooner. I am beginning to think Nick is some type of cat shifter, that boy is running on 9 lives! He is like a cockroach, that never dies. I think that Trent and Rachel do have this "childish" mom he hit me first type of romance. I want them to hook up at least once and realize later they were meant to be friends who trap one another in a cage and steal from one another. I LOVE the crap they put one another through. It was nice to take a peek at their past. Harrison is an amazing writer. Love her!

I loved the part where she's in the mink cage and Trent starts playing music she likes, she's leaning back as a mink and gives him a thumb's up about his music choice. So funny.
I also enjoy the part where Rachel breaks up Trent's wedding, and as she is arresting him Trent is like "oh honey you know how Rachel is LOL"Nick is just YUCKY lol I cannot figure him out. On the one hand I think he really does care about Rachel. But on the other he is so greedy he cares about no one.
Then there is Lee, who would have thought....
