Christian stepped out of his shadow shortly after he arrived.

"Neat trick," Alek praised shortly.
"Oh I was just seeing if you could keep up." Alek said, then continued on to Sabrina's house.
Christian sighed, but soon followed.
Alek was waiting in the woods near where he had brought Balthazar for Sabrina to kill.
Balthazar was stirring by then.Christian appeared from behind Alek.
"One subdued shifter," Alek said like a waiter distributing food as he gestured to Balthazar.
"Interesting" Christian said, wrapping the shadows around Balthazar so he couldn't move. He knelt down in front of him and tilted his head curiously. "I have to say, I'm kind of disappointed you have a face."
Alek stood against a tree, content to just watch for the time being.
Balthazar groaned and opened his eyes. "Who are you?" he asked."Christian Shade." Christian replied.
Balthazar rolled his eyes. "Shade. Such a common Shadow Spinner name."
"No one asked you," ChristiAn grumbled.
"Let me know if you need him knocked out again," Alek said, sounding bored.
((Yes! I'm so sorry, I've just been so crazy busy that I still have no idea where I want to take this. Can we just skip past this interrogation thing and say Balthazar wasn't cooperative or something?))

((Awesome.))"Well...that didn't help us at all." Christian said once they'd gotten back to his house.
"I didn't really think it would." Alek said.
Christian sighed. "Well I'm out of ideas."
"Who do you think is younger? The brother or the sister?" Alek asked
"Hm...the brother?" Christian guessed.
"So he was probably the soulfire right?"
Christian nodded slowly. "If they really were firestarters once, then yeah."
"Couldn't we steal his fire and use it to burn away the dark in Sabrina without using hers?"
"Interesting." Christian said thoughtfully. "Do you think it even still exists? We don't know how his powers changed. He may or may not have it."
"When I've gone into Sabrina's mind I've seen her fire," Alek said. "It seemed practically endless. There's got be at least some of that left in him."
"True" Christian agreed. "Its probably worth a shot."
"But I only know of one way of getting to it," Alek said. "And I am not going into that twisted freaks head."
"Well," Christian said, standing. "I'll let you think about that for a bit. In the mean time, I'm going for a walk. The more I think about it, the more I think j dropped my ID the last time I was out. I take it you know your way to the door." He said, before stepping out and heading down the street.
Alek started looking through the book on Soulfires looking for anything about extracting fire.
Christian retraced his steps from the day before, thinking maybe he dropped it bending down to pick up one of that girl's boxes.
Katerina was in her room unpacking boxes.
Christian stopped outside her house and looked around the sidewalk.
Katerina saw him from her window and rushed to the door, then paused an opened it slowly. "Hey," she called from her porch.
"Hey," ChristiAn said with an easy smile, his whole disposition different than it was the first time he'd seen her, like night and day, "Have you seen a state of Washington ID card around here?"
Katerina shook her head. "But maybe my family has," she suggested. "Come inside and we will find out."
"Alright, thanks." Christian said, walking up to the house.
"I'm Katerina," she introduced herself. "And you?"
"It is nice to meet you," Katerina said with a smile.
"You too," Christian replied. "Did you just move in?" he asked.
"How did you know?" Katerina joked. "It couldn't possibly have been the moving truck."
"Oh, no," Christian said, face overly serious, "It was my psychic powers."
Katerina chuckled as someone was heard coming down the stairs. "Hello sister," said the elder boy descending the steps.
Christian glanced up to see who had entered.
"You must be Christian," the boy said, sounding bored.
Christian looked at him, confused, "And how would you know thar?" he asked.
He reached into his pocket and produced Christians ID. "I found this in a box with some of my books."
"You found it! I've been walking around the whole neighborhood looking for it." Christian said.
"I must have grabbed it by accident when I picked up the books," Katerina said. "I'm sorry."
"If you'll just toss it to me, I'll be on my way." Christian said.
