Rebecca roared in frustration. "Zach, I swear to God! I will unmake these," she yanked on the handcuffs, "and you will pay!"
Zach smirked. "Just trust me." he said, thrusting slowly but deeply.
Rebecca groaned through gritted teeth.
"You're so cute when you're sexually frustrated." Zach commented. He leaned over to whisper in her ear, "But it's also sexy as hell." Then he went back to slamming into her hard and fast.
"Oh God," Rebecca moaned, arching her back.
Zach held onto the headboard for leverage and thrusted harder.
Rebecca's back arched higher and she screamed as she reached her her climax.
Zach kept going, not slowing down or lightening up.
Rebecca could barely breathe. "Zach!" She screamed. "Baby... F**k."
Zach moaned, panting, moving so vigorously that the bed rocked.
Rebecca was gasping for air between moans as she finally collapsed into the bed.
After a few more minutes, Zach climaxed, crying out her name and then laying beside her, panting.
The handcuffs clicked open and Rebecca turned to him. "Oh... my... God," she said panting. "What... was that?"
"What. . .was. . .what?" Zach panted in reply.
"What you just did," Rebecca said, her breathing starting to even out.
"What do you mean?" Zach asked. "Did you not like it?"
"I loved it... Well most of it," Rebecca said. "But if you tease me like that again, payback is gonna be a real witch."
"Oh, that was my favorite part." Zach said, smirking.
Rebecca glared at him for a moment then got up, no where near as steady as she has been after the last time. "Come on," she said moving toward the door. "I'm starving, let's eat; and when we're done we can work on that til I can't stand stuff." She started down the stairs, not even giving a moments thought to stopping for clothes.
Zach followed her downstairs.Keys could be heard jangling at the front door, and Christian stepped into the house, home early since his date with Sabrina ended short and everything with Susannah was sorted out. He stopped in his tracks at the sight of them walking down the stairs.
In less than an second Rebecca made some clothes appear on her and Zach. Not full outfits, but it was better than nothing. "What are you doing here? You were supposed to be spending the day with Sabrina!"
". . .Stuff happened." Christian replied, blinking rapidly. "Why. . .no, never mind. I don't want to know." he said, pushing the incident from his mind, and focusing on the other events of the day. "Susannah relapsed into a coma again. They called me. I ended the day with Sabrina early. Jacob made a deal with Adrian to heal her. That kind of stuff."
"A deal with Adrian! Is he insane?! What deal?" Rebecca asked worriedly.
"That he would let her kill him if she saved Susannah." Christian replied.
"What?!?" Rebecca nearly screamed. "And you just let him do that?"
"How would you have expected me to stop him? That other vampire didn't even try to stop him. He wasn't negotiating, and he was slightly irrational." Christian asked, referring to Alek when he mentioned the other vampire. "Anyway, he didn't die. Not yet, anyway."
"What's Adrian waiting for?" Rebecca asked, assuming that was why he wasn't dead yet.
"Nothing. She didn't even stick around long enough after she'd stabbed him to make sure he stopped breathing. Some people from his pack found him and he's now at the hospital in a coma and critical condition." Christian replied.
Rebecca ran back up to her room and got dressed faster than she ever had before to go to the hospital. She took out her phone to call Alek and saw a dozen mosses calls and texts from Kahlan.
Zach followed her, tossing on the clothes he'd had before.
Rebecca ran out the door to her car. She slammed on the horn as the engine roared to life for Zach to hurry.
Zach hopped into the passenger side.
Rebecca sped all the way to the hospital, getting there in half the time it normally takes from her house. "Jacob Black's room," she said walking up to the reception desk. After getting the information she ran down the halls until she found it, and came in breathless.
Zach arrived shortly after her.Susannah sat in a chair right next to his bed, where she'd been ever since she first entered the room.
Rebecca turned to Alek who was unmoved in his chair by the wall. "Why haven't you healed him yet?" She demanded, putting her hands over Jacob to begin healing him. Before she had even picked which spell to use Alek had grabbed her and pulled her away.
"If we heal him, then Adrian can say he cheated and then go after Susannah, but if he survives on his own, then it was her own incompetence that saved him and he would have held up his end of the deal to the best of his ability."
". . .and what are the odds of that happening?" Zach asked.
"Not good," Alek mouthed behind Susannah's back.
Zach nodded in understanding, and glanced over at Jacob and Susannah, Jacob unconscious, and Susannah looking like she was fighting sleep. "I see." He said, too quiet for Susannah to hear, but loud enough for Alek.
Alek nodded. "I'll be right back I just have to make a call. Keep an eye on them."
Rebecca went over to Susannah's side and knelt down next to her. "Why don't you get some sleep, she suggested. I can take you home and Zach and I can stay here with him."Alek went out into the hall and called Sabrina.
Susannah shook her head. "I'm fine here." She said."hello?" Sabrina answered.
"Hey," Alek said. "I have what you should tell your mom about Susannah.""Well let's at least go get you something to eat from the cafeteria," Rebecca urged. "It'll only take a minute."
"Alright. I'm all ears." Sabrina said.Susannah shook her head again. "I'm fine." she insisted.
Rebecca put a hand on hers and squeezed it reassuringly. "I'm sure he'll be fine," she said. "Jacob's one of the most stubborn people I've ever met, and there is not a force on this earth that can keep him from you.""Tell her there was an accident, Jacob was severely injured, he's in a coma and Susannah will be staying with you until the situation changes," Alek told her.
