Jacobs eyes lit up when he saw, but he kept his distance.

Susannahs eyes froze on Adrian and she recoiled from her, as far as the couch allowed. she did it much faster and with much more strength than she'd done anything the past couple of days, actually. Adrian not only fixed the damage to her soul but also her body.
Jacob moved inbetween Susannah and Adrian. "It's ok, you're fine," he said. "Your safe I promise."
"Wh - why is she here?" Susannah asked, her voice shaky with fear even as her eyes flashed red with hatred for Adrian.
"I made a deal with her, so she would save you."
"What was the deal?" Susannah asked, eyeing Adrian suspiciously.
"Don't worry about it," Jacob said. "Alek, take her to Shirly's."
Alek ran up and grabbed her arms. "Don't ask," he said in her ear.
"what's going on?" Susannah insisted.
"Alek..." Jacob said sharply and like that they were gone. Alek teleported with Susannah to Shirly's house. He took her by the arm, lead her up to the door and knocked.
"alek, what's happening?" Susannah asked."so how do you want to do this? any preferences?" Adrian asked.
"Outside so you don't make a mess in my fathers house," Jacob said."It's the deal Jacob made," Alek said. He tightened his grip on her arm some an knocked again.
"Then let's do this." Adrian said, walking outside."Which involves what?" Susannah asked, as Sabrina answered the door, still dressed extra nice from her day out with Christian. "What's up?" she asked.
Alek quickly pulled Susannah inside and shut the door, then stood infrong of it to block her from leaving. "Susannah's going to move in with you and your mother after all," Alek said to Sabrina, not noticing her outfit at the moment.
"Um. . .alright, that works." Sabrina said, slightly confused. "Since when?!" Susannah said. "Alek, what's going on?" she asked again.
"To save you Jacob made a deal with Adrian," Alek said. "He said if she saved your life and left you alone for the rest of your life... he'd let her kill him."
"No." Susannah said, already trying to push past him and to the door. "And you let him do that?!" she said, throwing all her weight against him, trying to get him to move from the front of the door. "That's crazy! We have to go back!"
Alek didn't budge, no matter how hard she fought. He wrapped his arms around tightly to keep her still. I told him I would make sure you moved here, and that you live a long, healthy, and happy life."
"No!" Susannah said, "Alek, please," she begged. "Let me by, let me go help him. I didn't promise her anything."
"I can't," Alek said gently. "If you go and try to stop it she might just kill you, again. And even if she doesn't Jacob doesn't want you to have to see it, and neither do I."
"Not seeing it doesn't mean it's not happening! It doesn't mean that Jacob's over dying while I'm over here doing nothing to help him! Please, Alek." Susannah said desperately, in tears now, "Please," she begged.
"I'm sorry, but I can't," Alek said. His hold on her shifted from restraining, to trying to comfort her. "I'm so so sorry."{{whoops I just realized I stopped writing about Jacob.}}
Jacob followed Adrian out.
"No," Susannah said, the fight leaving her and her body going limp, the only thing keeping her up being Alek's hold on her, "Nononononononono," she sobbed."So. . .ever imagine how you would die?" Adrian asked curiously.
"Can't said I have," Jacob said. "Can we get on with this.""What room will be hers?" Alek asked Sabrina as he scooped Susannah up into his arms.
"Give me a minute." Adrian said. "It's not everyday plans fall into place so perfectly." She circled him, looking him and down, trying to decide how she wanted to kill him.". . .follow me." Sabrina said, turning and walking up the stairs. She led them to a room at the end of the hall. "Sorry about all the boxes. When mom realized you wouldn't be easy to convince she started using this as storage. I can get them out later today." She opened the door to a simple room with white walls, a bed, a dresser, and the several boxes she'd mentioned.
Alek waved his hand and the boxes began stacking themselves out in the hall. He laid Suannah on the bed and on the edge, lightly rubbing her back. Jacob sighed. "You dine yet?"
Susannah cried and cried, broken, painful sobs that shook her whole body."yeah." Adrian said, finally stopping in front of him. "I was wondering if I should get creative, but there's something so poetic about a dagger." she said, conjuring a dagger into her hand.
"Whatever," Jacob said flatly. Alek passed his hand over her and the blanket from Jacob's bed fell over her.
Adrian flicked her wrist and sent the dagger flying towards his chest.Susannah suddenly hopped up and ran for the door in a last ditch effort to leave the house.
Alek was standing at the bottom of the stairs before she'd even gotten to the first step. "Did you really think that was going to work?" He asked. Jacob screwed his eyes shut.
"No," Susannah said, sinking to the floor and putting her head in her hands.At the last second Adrian flicked her wrist and it landed in his shoulder. "Oops." She said. "Missed." She conjured up another dagger.
Jacob hissed in pain and stumbled backwards. Alek took her back to her room and wrapped her in the blankets from Jacobs house.
Adrian threw the other one at him, aiming for his chest again.Susannah pulled the blanket over her head and was silent.
Alek leaned down and whispered a spell that would temporarily put her into a deep sleep. Jacob didn't even flinch as it flew toward him.
Susannah fell unconscious. The dagger flew straight and true, and Adrian didn't change its course this time.
A straggled noise forced it's way out of his throat as the dagger plunged into his chest. His eyes watered and he stumbled back a little farther before he teetered and collapsed to his knees. Alek turned to Sabrina and finally noticed her outfit. "And I suppose you are all dressed up for Christian," he said, the jealous venom sharpening his words. Today had put him in a fowl mood and he didn't have the patience to be subtle. "See when you told me I was yours, I assumed that meant you were mine as well." He backed her into a corner as he continued. "So I'm sure you can imagine my shock when I find out that you had agreed to go on a date with him."
Adrian watched, eyes bright lime someone watching a good movie."date with who?" Sabrina asked. "what are you talking about? Christian said he'd show me around town so I figured I should dress nice. but that's not important. what I want to know is why there's a girl in that room that looks like she's been broken into a million pieces. my mom is sure to have questions."
Alek shook his head, but backed down. "You do know that it was a date to him right?" He asked. "But as for Susannah: she was dying. According to Christian, who knows the most about her kind she had a .01% chance for survival. So Jacob did what he does best; he took care of her. He made a deal with Adrian, that if she fixed what she had done to Susannah, and left her alone for the rest of her life, he would let her do something she's wanted to for a long time: kill him. Now Susannah is alive and well and Jacob is dying."Jacob's eyelids felt as heavy as lead and breathing became so hard it seemed almost pointless to keep trying.
{{Im debating whether or not to bring Jacob back. I've already thought of a way to do it, but I'm not sure I want to.}}
"...that's not possible." Sabrina said. "people can't just save people from death because of a bargain over a handshake." "it was nice doing business with you, Jacob black." Adrian said. "I'll leave your little wife alone." she teleported away and left him to die.

Jacob's last thought before he collapsed forward, unconscious but not quite yet dead was that Susannah was safe and that was all that mattered."It can in this town," Alek said. "Welcome to Forks, love: where every fairytale and everything that goes bumps under the bed is real; and magic makes the rules."
"I guess." Sabrina said, not sounding completely convinced.
Aleks phone rang and he looked at it confused; according to the screen Jacob was calling. "Hello?" He answered. "What the hell did you do?!" Kahlan yelled into the phone. "Jake told us to let you on the reservation because you would be looking for a way to kill that shifter girl in the garage for good. Then I find the garage open, the girl gone, and Jacob with a dagger in his shoulder and one in his chest! Now I'm at the hospital with him and Carlisle is trying to fix him, but no one is sure what's going to happen."
"It's complicated," Alek said. "I'll be there soon and explain everything." Kahlan started to protest but Alek hung up.
"I'm gonna take Susannah to the hospital," Alek said. "I'm not exactly sure what's going in yet, but I planning finding out."
"Ok." Sabrina said. "Just let me know what's going on with her so I know how to explain it to my mom."
"Will do," Alek said. "Oh, and while I'm gone, try not to go on anymore dates will you."
"it wasn't a date." Sabrina insisted. "the word date never came up until right now"
"You're as bad as your cousin I swear," Alek sighed. "Everyone else knows it was a date but you. I bet even Susannah knows and a couple months back she was asked on a date and then brought Jacob with her on the date."
"implied dates don't count as dates. now go do whatever it is that you were going to go do." Sabrina said.
