Vampires vs. Werewolves Roleplay (The one with twilight charries)
"it wasn't this late when I started climbing this tree. and my mother thinks I'm at a friend's house studying." Sabrina said.
"She does know that school is over right?" Alek asked raising an eyebrow.
Sabrina shrugged. "she forgot. and since I needed to get out here, I haven't corrected her."
"Something the matter?" Alek asked.
"No. what makes you think that?" Sabrina asked.
"The fact that 'needed to get out of there'," Alek shrugged.
"Oh." Sabrina blushed. "its not really all that important"
"Alright," Alek said, not pushing it.
"What are you doing out here?" Sabrina asked.
"Just out for a walk," Alek said.
"I'll race you to the top," Alek said, standing on the branch, grabbing the next one for support.
"...you win." Sabrina said. "it took me an hour just to get here."
Alek couldn't help but compare her to Susannah then, as much as he tried not to.
Sabrina sighed. "it was stupid to even attempt it, really. as it was, I fell twice."
"We'll you can just follow me up and put your hands and feet where I do," Alek said, hoisting himself up onto the next branch.
Sabrina put her hands where his had been, and stained to pull herself up. when her arms could take it no more, she stopped. then She tied again, her feet flailing for some purchase in the tree bark to help her arms support her weight. after doing that for a time, she sat on her branch, winded again, and tried to think about what alek had done differently than her, other than be stronger.
"You alright there?" Alek asked. He grabbed another branch a little ways above, and lifted his foot onto one half way between the two. Then he kicked off the branch and pulled himself up.
"fine" Sabrina said, then She caught the branch again, and finally managed to painfully hoist herself up. she stopped on that branch to plan her next move.
Alek reached a hand down to her. "Come on Ill pull you up," he said.
"alright" Sabrina said, taking his hand.
Alek was surprised by her continued lack of reaction to his temperature as he pulled her up.
"thanks" Sabrina said once she was on the branch.
"You wanna keep going?" Alek asked.
"not really" Sabrina said. "I'm no good at tree climbing"
"So what do you want to do?" Alek asked.
"figure out how to get down." Sabrina said, looking down at the ground worriedly. "that'll probably take another hour, and I have to head home"
"I can help with that," Alek said. "You trust me?"
Sabrina thought for a second. "yeah, sure. I trust you." she said.
"Alright, hold on," Alek said, pulling her into his arms.
"What are you going to do?" Sabrina asked.
"Get you down," Alek said, then jumped down from the tree.
Sabrina was so shocked that by the time she decided it was a good time to scream, they were already on the floor, and she saved herself the embarrassment of screaming like a silly girl.
Alek shrugged. "Not the first time I heard that," he said. "Probably won't be the last."
"You're probably right." Sabrina said as she started walking.
"So you wanna tell me what's up now?" Alek asked, falling into step beside her.
"What we were talking about before in the tree," Alek said.
"why I came out her?e" Sabrina asked.
"you said You liked the woods. I've never spent much time in the woods, and I didn't know when I'd talk to you again, so I figured I'd better just get out here today that way I'd know what you mean. then I got bored and decided to try my hand at tree climbing." Sabrina shrugged. "and you know the rest. I told you it wasn't anything bad."
"We'll why the rush to hang out in the woods tonight? Why not wait till morning?"
"because I got bored." Sabrina said.
"Why so worried about when you'd see me?"
"Uh-huh sure," Alek said. "I've never spent much time in the woods, and I didn't know when I'd talk to you again," he continued in a near perfect imitation of her voice.
"What are you doing out here so late?" Alek asked, joking sightly. "You could run into a crazy person. Does you mother know you're out so late?"
