Jacob smiled slightly and kissed Susannah's head lightly. "It's very funny when you think that a girl flirting with me has any affect in the world," he said, chuckling slightly as he turned onto her porch.

"It is not funny!" Susannah said, blushing, as she started to go into her house.
Jacob followed Susannah up to the door. "May I come in?" He asked.
Susannah nodded. "Of course." she said.
"Just checking," Jacob said stepping through the door. He wrapped his arms around Susannah's waist and put his forehead on hers. "I missed you so much when we were in there," he said. "The torture wasn't the worst part of that place for me."
Susannah wrapped her arms around him too. "I missed you too. I was going to give up, you know. Not become like them, but just stop fighting.Then I thought of you. It was the only way I was able to even touch the thing." Susannah said, meaning the agiel.
"I will never let them anywhere near you again," Jacob said then softly kissed Susannah.
Susannah kissed him back before saying, "And don't worry about Balthazar. I did not go through everything I did while with the mord sith just do dump you for someone else." she said. "Because that's never going to happen."
Jacob smiled. "That's good to know," he said and kissed her again.
Jacob deepened the kiss and pulled Susannah in tighter.
Susannah wrapped her arms around his neck.
Jacob lifted her up and carried her to her room.
Susannah wrapped her legs around his waist when he lifted her up.
Jacob sat on the bed with Susannah on his lap. He moved his lips from hers and kissed down her neck.
Susannah closed her eyes and moaned quietly.
Jacob laid Susannah back on the bed and put his hands on her hips.
Susannah's lips found Jacob's again, and she kissed him deeper.
Jacob kissed back readily his hand slowly and unintentionally pushing up the bottom of her shirt.
Susannah pulled him closer to her.
Jacob tangled his fingers in her hair.
Susannah's hands moved down, and her fingers started to trace random patterns on his stomache through his shirt.
Jacob kissed down her throat to her collar bone.
"Susannah! Dinner!" Susannah's mom called from downstairs."I have to go." Susannah said.
Jacob kissed Susannah one more time. "I'll see you later," he said as he headed toward the window.
"Do you want to stay for dinner? Or are you going to do something with your dad?" Susannah asked.
"I can stay," Jacob said. "I'll meet you down stairs." Then he jumped out the window and went and knocked on the door.
Susannah answered the door. "You really should use the door." she said. "I don't want you getting hurt when you jump out the window. Besides, the door is very easy to operate."
"It's actually kinda fun," Jacob said, "leaving via window."
"Ok...just don't hurt yourself. It will be very hard to explain to my mom and paramedics why you're jumping out of windows when there's a perfectly good door. So, ready to eat?" Susannah said.
"Yeah," Jacob said. "I'm always ready to eat."
"Come on, then." Susannah said. She took his hand and lead him into the kitchen."Oh, hi Jacob." Ms. Summers said, smiling, when she saw Jacob.
"Hi Ms. Summers," Jacob said. "Is it alright if I stay for dinner."
"Of course. You're always welcome." Ms. Summers said.
Susannah and her mom sat down at the table, and began to eat.
"So, Jacob, how have you been?" Ms. Summer's asked Jacob."Ok, so you know the plan, right?" Adrian asked Balthazar for the hundreth time.
"Yes. I know the plan." Balthazar answered for the hundreth time.
"Then go get 'em." Adrian said.
Balthazar nodded. In the blink of an eye he no longer looked like Balthazar. Instead, he looked like Jacob. Smelled, looked, sounded, and had the same powers as Jacob Black. He even knew how to act like him, because when he changed, he not only looked like the person, but was basically them, without the person knowing. His power was virtually undetectable, and he loved it. Balthazar, looking like Jacob, went onto La Push beach in search of Kahlan.
"Not too great," Jacob said honestly. "But things are turning around.""Hey Jake," Kahlan said running into Balthazar.
"Well, that's good, isn't it?" Ms. Summers asked."Hello, Kahlan." Balthazar said. His sister and him had been watching the lives of Zach and Susannah carefully, and he knew everything about Kahlan and Jacob's past. Then Balthazar smiled at Kahlan in a way that wasn't quite flirtatious, but was a bit more than friendly.
"Are you alright?" Kahlan asked noticing something just slightly off. "It is," Jacob said holding Susannah's hand under the table.
"Of course. Never been better." Balthazar paused. "Especially now that I'm talking to you." he said.Susannah held Jacob's hand in hers. "So, mom, still writing?" she asked.
"Oh, no. I stopped that a long time ago. I'm now working on needle point." Ms. Summers said.
Jacob smiled slightly noticing what Susannah meant by her mom switching hobbies a lot."So hows Susannah?" Kahlan asked trying to change the topic he was kind of weirding her out.

"So, what are you needle pointing?" Susannah asked her mom."A pillow." her mom answered.
Balthazar sighed. "I think she's fine. But...can I ask you something?" he asked.
Kahlan was a little worried about 'Jacobs' apparent uninterest in Susannah but she didnt show it. "Sure," she said, "ask away."
"Ok...what would you do if you were imprinted on someone. Then you imprinted on someone else. Then the imprint with both of them broke, but one person didn't love you anymore, while the other did, and you didn't know how to let her down gently?" Balthazar asked.
"Wait are you talking about me or Susannah?" Kahlan asked getting kind of nervous. She liked Susannah now that she didnt feel the need to fight for Jacob and she didn't want her to get hurt.
"Susannah." Balthazar said, sighing. "I don't want to hurt her, but I don't think it's going to work out."
