The Summoning by Kelley Armstrong won in our poll for one of the December Group Reads!

I have not read this book yet. However, I pick it up to read the back of it almost every time I am at the bookstore. :)

Has anyone read it? Would you recommend it?
Let us know what you think! :)

If you liked the first one you will possibly like the second one. I found the second one had that little bit extra than the first.

What was your favourite bit in the first book?

I already have this book. I'm very excited to read it. Kelley Armstrong is a new author for me.

Me too. I had only heard of her after reading The Summoning. But now I really want to read her other series too!

Storm (stormgerlock) I just finished the Summoning and I thought it was amazing, I actually bought it yesterday and started it earlier this evening and couldn't put it down.

I'm kinda a wimp when it comes to scary things so I was freaking out in all of the scary parts.

Elizabeth Brazelton | 5 comments I read it back in October and I absoutly loved it. As soon as I was done with the first one, I had to get the second one. I would recommend this book to everyone.

Ellen (ellenpenleysmith) I did that too, Elizabeth. But then I found out my library didn't have it, and being the impatient person that I am, I actually went out and brought it myself. So on my bookshelf I have the second one, but not the first one. Lol.

She is a new author for me too and I loved this book,I am trying to figure out how I can get the next one for a Christmas present

Ellen (ellenpenleysmith) Haha. I gave my parents a HUGE book christmas list. Lol. It was a back-to-back A4 piece of paper full of the names and authors of books that I want.
Good luck!

Storm (stormgerlock) I really want the second one too and I own The Summoning but in paperback. I like to have the same format for all the books in a series so I have to wait until The Awakening is in paperback.

Ellen (ellenpenleysmith) Yeah, I am like that too Rose. If I have the first book in the series in paperback than I have to have the rest in paperback. I get really fussy sometimes, Lol.
