Everyone thinks that Kile is Eadlyns Aspin. But I think its the other way around. I feel like Erik is the Aspin in this story. Erik is the complication in this story that no one was expecting (and perhaps it may even be a fling, Eadlyn is more impulsive than her mother), and I feel like it will be a similar situation as America's (where she flits between them and can't make up her mind as well as the emotions, idk what it is, just something seems familiar and is foreshadowing the results, i just don't know WHAT). And I know it's a cliche, but I think that Kile and Eadlyn will be adorable together, they just compliment each other well. Also, the theory where Henri and Erik are flip flopped, I completely agree (I knew something was up as soon as they walked into the room to greet her). Either way, I think I will enjoy the ending no matter what. I also think that the characters aren't developed enough in the story to make an accurate prediction, there just aren't enough details yet and she is too distant to get those cutesy moments I yearn for (In case you didn't figure out that it was a teenage girl writing this post ;) )

Well, Kile isn't really Eadlyn's childhood friend. She has always hated him, and he her. And America chose Maxon, who was part of the Selection, over Aspen. So maybe Eadlyn will choose Kile, who is part of the Selection, over Erik. But this is only a possibility.Anyway, Kadyln all the way!!!

If I’m totally honest, when Eadlyn and Erik held hands and gazed at each other longingly near the end of the book, I had to put it down for a minute and just do a victory lap around my house. I, I just, I love them so much, they’re so sweet. I can’t even, they’re romantic af.
Eadlyn’s falling for him and I’m screaming because 1. I predicted it (and I try not to make predictions) and 2. he’s one of the best there, and I’m loving him too
when Eadlyn and Erik had their first actual conversation at the party I think I was like oh oh no oh here we go it’s gonna be them

I am all for Erik! Technically he isn't in the Selection, but he is sort of competing for Henri. I mean, come on. He is translating Henri's affection. He is making sure Henri will go on after the kiss. That is totally a move a true competitor would make. And it's clear he likes Eadlyn. During the party, he has SAD eyes when she is dancing with Henri! He wants to be in that spot! Sure he didn't put his name in, but that doesn't mean he can't start wanting Eadlyn. And remember the part when an unexpected name pops into Eadlyn's mind? I'm guessing that's either Erik or Kile. Sorry for this long of a post, but I feel the need to back up my opinion.

I don't want it to be Kile because it's too obvious that it's going to be Kile... but i worry Cass is not going to surprise us.I think that Kile is NOT the Aspen here. Kile is not that typical childhood-friend. They first get to know each other through the selection. She can be herself in front of him. Kile is the only one Eadlin really is honest with. Half of the book was about Kile. All the other candidates and Eric appeared nearly the same number of times, but Kile appeared more often than the others.
And Kile had this idea with the apartment buildings for all the poor people. He is smart enough to reign abreast Eadlyn.
Kile is the America here in my opinion. I think there won't really be any "or". There also was no "or" in the first three books. It was always Maxon and it was always America.. Aspen and the other candidates (book 1-3) obviously never really had any chance.
I want it to be Eric or Hale, but...

I absolutely love Henri, but there are several complications with him, biggesr being lack of English, so I doubt he will win. :( Other than that, definitely Kile or Erik. I like both of them, so so far I don't know if I could choose between them. Erik seems to understand how to deal with Eadlyn exactly when problems occur. He is always in the right place at the right time, and comforts Eadlyn with little issue. Kile knows Eadlyn, even though he acts like he doesn't. Lots of people think having Kile in there isnt fair, because they have lived in the palace for years. But, as has been shown, Eadlyn does not really know Kile, making him almost as much of a mystery as the others. Either one would fill the role that Eadlyn wants, being king without really being a ruler. Neither boy seems interested in ruling, but both would be capable of helping her enough to convince the country, and can be a comforting character when she needs it. (As a side note, when I first read about Erik being there with Henri, I thought "Wouldn't it be funny if she ended up with the translator? " Little did I know that that might actually happen)
Everybody should know its gonna be Kile. From theyre first interaction the beginning of the book i knew thats who she was gonna end up with. The conversation made the readers believe that they hated each other so thats makes it all the more unpredictable.(unless ur me) And of course they would start to actually like each other,and there is practically no reason to put him in the book but im not saying hes my favorite (i dont have a fav) but its the obvious choice. And when ur reading it,really look at how she feels about him, she has all BUT said that she loves him.

Team Kile. I really want Kile to win! I don't think I would read any of her other books if Kile doesn't win. He is honestly my favorite. My next favorite would be Henri, but I feel like it would be so awkward because of the language barrier.
And if I got the guy's name wrong my mistake, I haven't read the book in a while

I think Eadlyn would end up with Kile. Remember eadlyn have a secret passion for designing dresses? I mean Kile have a passion for designing buildings and he wanted to leave the palace for his dream. Maybe one day Eadlyn would realize what she really wants, designing dress perhaps, and leave the palace for her passion(with Kile?)and for the future ruler of Illea? Am I the only one that thinks she won't end up being queen? I don't know who she'll pick but I think that regardless of who she does, she's going to turn down the crown and Kaden will end up being king. Although my gut says Erik.

I think Eadlyn will do something childish to make Kile remove his name from the selection. Or Kile will refuse to wanna stay because he won't wanna play the part of prince and stay in the castle. I don't think Erik will wanna hurt Henri by betraying him and pursuing a relationship with Eadlyn. If EriK didn't have enough confidence in himself to put his name in the selection; Then he won't have enough confidence to pursue a princess against the rules. So in a heart broken moment she will accept Ean's offer. Because she knows that she will need a likable partner and he fits the part for a perfect prince. But I think after she accepts Ean's offer, She will discover something about Ean's alternative motives. I don't see why anyone is even considering Fox or Hale. I didn't see any chemistry there.

Kaden would make a good king because he wants to learn everything even though he doesn't have to, and the chemistry between Eadlyn and Erik is almost touchable!

Yeah I know maybe most of the suitors are honest, but I mean Erik is just FREAKING there. He might win... sorry I just really don't know who is going to win Eadlyn's heart. It's driving me crazy.

He's a Translator, so basically I think he doesn't get enough money. That will favor the poor. Now, Erik (Eikko) is a Swendway descendant, first generation to be born in Illea. That's another positive factor. I don't know, this is what I think. But if she's happy with whoever she chooses then I'm okay with it. Not happy, but okay.

There's something there between him and Eadlyn, don't get me wrong I was a Keadlyn shipper, but the Eadrik moments made me even happier than Keadlyn moments. The kisses were becoming... I don't know? Unbearable? I felt like Eadlyn was using Kile to forget about her problems. Like Kile was just a distraction... I don't know. Sorry if I sound harsh, but I didn't mean to offend anyone. Besides we'll know the answer next year. (Dies while waiting...)

YES!!! I just hope that he realizes how much he loves her before he leaves and then he realizes that he actually can't live without her once he goes.
