Good intentions - how I hate them!

Ok. I have a story, how I've been helping my dad last week: the idea was to prune grapes, and those things tend to get unruly when neglected. So it was high time to do something about those twigs - they've already started working their way under the rood, destroying the elevation. So I'm thinking: I can do this for my dad, help him out. Old men has been working so much lately, putting in long houser on weekends. I can do something for him, it's going to be simple easy, I'll just get the loopers and in an hour (or four) it all is going to be tip top.
And did I prune it? Oh yeah! I've pruned the shit out of it. It's lovely now, trimmed and all. Perfection I tell you. It's just that in addition to grapes I cut the antenna cable. Twice, hehe. No more TV for my daddy dearest. No. My apologies! I meant well. I did. Honest. But now there's a huge chunk of wire missing. Like 3m of it. That's - hold on, quick calculations are in order - about 10 ft. Ha! Nice huh? And no quick way of fixing it. Nope. That would be too easy. Eh. I have many talents indeed. Many talents...

Call someone! The cable company will come fix it, right? They did in less than 24 hours when my landlord did the same thing to me pruning trees.

Meanwhile, you've got to entertain your dad.

Dude! That’s really easy to fix! You can just go to the… ermmm hardware store and buy the cable and the little head thingies… it can be fix in less than 10 mins!

Fortunately, he's out, visiting family graves this weekend. So it does not matter. And besides, a break from watching all those volleyball and soccer games would do him good.

Yup female volleyball. We have a strong team. But my dad would watch anything, it doesn't really matter to him - ski-jumping, formula-1...

I like swimming, skiing, snowboarding - but watching it on TV? Eeeeeeee.... I would sometimes, but my heart is not in it.
