I need to choose my book and try to read it today, but yesterday and today is hubby's day off and we're doing house organizing which is chaotic right now, so if not today I'll get it read tomorrow. :)
Sunny, I asked Kat in the Q/A and here was her response: Books can not be started until after a task is assigned. So a book finished or even begun before a task is assigned is not eligible for that task. That is the same for all challenges in this group.
Oh, thank you for looking into it, Vicki!! 😊That's very good to know. I'm almost always reading something, and so I when MPG sports came up, I was already more than halfway through a sports romance and thought I would ask since the same thing could happen again. Thank you for clarifying. 🙏
I would say that many challenges allow you to be reading a book already if a task is posted but you haven't finished it, they'll allow. But there are others that won't allow a book unless BEGIN after the task is posted. Usually they'll say something like, "It goes by READ/FINISHED DATE. NOT THE START DATE" or something to that effect.

This was a heartfelt and steamy sports romance that blends emotional healing with swoon-worthy chemistry. Katy and Ryker's love story felt both tender and intense, makint it an addictive start the the Fire on Ice series.

There is a dated English language Kindle edition that has a page count. That is the one you should you use, even if there is an ebook dated earlier. Always use the earliest dated English language Kindle edition if there is one. 😊
So, please correct to the first edition Kindle page count (243). Thanks.
A little clarification on when books can be started. For this challenge, books have to be started after the task is assigned. That is similar to both BTC and PtP. In other challenges in this group, you are allowed to backdate your books - but only until the beginning of the specific challenge. This is so that if you decide to join the quarterly challenge a month into it, you can count the books you read after the challenge began but before you joined. I hope that helps explain the difference.

I really love this series. This is book 17 and now we get to see a little bit about a different group in the series. The Kurjans. We still get some of my favorite characters Paxton and Hope but this story focuses on Vero and Lyrica. Love the fire between the two of them. This one was a super quick read and now I'm wondering if she going to give us any more in the series or was this the finish.

I've gotten myself hooked on this series. Clark is definitely one of my favorite brothers. I loved the banter back and forth between him and Eloise. His house sounds nice and I kind of wish my house had some of those features but that would require his type of money. One thing I really like about these characters are the relationships with the other characters from previous books. It's just a fast entertaining romance book.
