It could be the Forgotten Five series by Lisa McMann. However, the kids are born and raised on the island and the adults eventually all leave. They set out to find the adults again and I think they end up finding all the adults again
maybe the stranded series by Jeff Probst?
Is it about how they survive? I know a child’s book the boxcar series had one of the books like this.
