Timothy Olyphant might be a fan:

Jason would be proud... (the running joke about amphora, with pamphlets)

Amphora is ceramic jugs... Jason tries to get Rufus's dad to invest, with pamphlets and shenanigans...

people on the HWFWM reddit can't decide if Timothy Olyphant is a fan, or just a coincidence in phrasing, and hopping on the Hollywood hobby bandwagon, and aware of the issue with microplastics... so ceramics are the future :D
He seems the type that could be a fan... Also been a bit of a weirdo / chaos gremlin when I've seen interview clips of him on Conan kinda dressed like his character in Justified (jeans and a hat)

Time to jump into this a few days early...
I just read the blurbs for this "trilogy" and God Damn... this goes off and has it's own story for 2-3 books, kind of as expected, as each set of 3 books makes up a larger Royal Road Volume... but I wasn't expecting half the stuff I read in the blurbs...
Sounds like things escalate, as usual, but the most jarring thing was the statement that in book 12, it's been 20 years since Jason was pulled into this world, back in book 1... I assume alot of time is going to be lost in book 11, because, by my reckoning, at this point it's been less than 10 years, right?...
Jason spent a year or 3 in the first trilogy, then he spent 3-5 years back on Earth, from the sounds of it (I think some time was lost in the transfer back and forth, and then traveling across the fantasy world back to his friends...
And then maybe a year or 2 past in the 3rd trilogy, since they left the area they were in to go to the islands, then stuff happened...
And I feel like I'm being generous with those amounts of time...

And I found my answer, and yea, I basically doubled all the time measurements, generously...

Books 1-3 are a year and a half. Books 4-6 are 2 ish years. Books 7-10 are a year and a half. In total about 5 years for 1-10.
The second part of book 11 is 15 years. So book 12 will start 20 years after book 1. 5 years of story and a 15 year time skip
"
And very little of book 13 has been written, since Shirtaloon is still recovering from his illness in April... as of a few weeks ago, he still can't sit for long periods of time and get the writing juices flowing, because of meds/etc...

Started... there's a foreword and accompanying PDF cheat sheet of magic abilities of characters in the series... it's only taken Shirtaloon 10 books to see the downsides of not planning out the magic system of his series as meticulously as Sanderson tends to...
Early chapters: Jason gets accused of always being surrounded by new hot girls... Jason gets offended... Jason asks for a moment... goes and answers the door... it's a group of clergywomen... typical Jason...

Zoomed through this... had alot of fun... wish there was one more chapter... bit of a cliffhanger, but I spoiled the details forever ago, for those curious (view spoiler)
I find it crazy that people suggest Earth arc haters skip books 4-6 and continue with books 7-9... it feels like book 10-12 rely on the events of 4-6... and 7-9 do, too, to a lesser extent, with how much power Jason gained on Earth and the Astral stuff...
But, it looks like books 10-12 are mostly Jason dealing with an Anomaly on Pallimastus, similar to all the anomalies on Earth, only with much more dangerous allies/foes to content with, on top of everything else... book 11 is gonna be a real Battle Ground book (to compare it to Dresden)...

Through Chapter 64 and really enjoying, Jason being Jason, and rubbing off on his friends, is guaranteed to make me laugh. I'm also really enjoying (view spoiler)
