Woot! I’ve only read a few of his but I loved them and have been meaning to get back to reading his books.
It was your review of The Wolf’s Hour that helped me decide to read it! I needed a werewolf book for the impossible challenge and I am not feeling any of the usual offerings on the werewolf lists.

June is not too far away, really. I know it will take me until June to finish my two books. Unless I manage to pull them off this weekend hehe. I’m off work until Tuesday, so anything is possible if I put my mind to it.

It's definitely not your typical paranormal romance shifter book!
I'll probably end up re-reading that one for that task, because I am soooooo over those kind of books,
A buddy read for Boy’s Life in June??? I might have to join. Need to see what tasks it fits on Impossible for June. It’ll be a re-read, but it’s been years!

Too many print books to read for Book Quest! And I don't have any of them on audio. *sigh*

Man, I just finished a road trip book!
This category might take me a few weeks. Need to double check my books and see.
Sammy, I feel your pain on the lack of audio for some books. I can’t get the McCammon books on audio so I’m beholden to my work schedule for getting those done. Sadly, my long weekend did not work out for buckling down to read those books. I started them both, though.

I think I'll probably go with the short one, unless I can figure out where the Shackleton book I have went to (this may be Scotland. Some of my books are already boxed up and gone ahead of us 😆).

(I've gotten rid of 191 books so far this year that I don't have to box up and move! I'm pround of me. Unfortunately, with still almost 3000 left, it's a drop in the ocean, but hey-ho... 😂)

Sadly, no. It was a few days ago, so not technically "just" finished. I think I used it for one of our last tasks anyway, now that I think about it.
I think I was mostly annoyed that I don't have anything else for that task right this second so it's like, "Dang! I could have used that book but now I've got to search" :P

That's still a lot of books, lol.
Are you trying to sell (any/all/some of) them or give them to specific people? If not, maybe you can take them to a charity shop or something like that, just to get them off your hands.
Around here, if I really want to get rid of things and I'm too lazy to take them to the half price book store, I just plop it all at the curb. Someone will pick it up within an hour, lol.

So right now the books left are those I feel I might re-read, those I haven't read yet, and those belonging to hubby (not my place to get rid of). Also one or two by an author who I have all of the books of, so want to keep the collection whole, even if I hated the book (looking at you Billy Summers 😆).
Still almost 3000 🤣
Challenges permitting, I'm currently trying to focus on those books I haven't read yet I feel I may not want to keep afterwards. Every book I don't need to pack is a bonus, as far as I'm concerned!

I think I'll stick with the LFL to be safe...😆

LOL! Yeah, I had a feeling it might be something like that. Would definitely not want to lead you to jail with my helpful tips. :D

Back to Book quests books for now though!

Oh, that would have been a fun little connection!

Lol!! At least you’re finding food books that work.
I need to try to finish my food book this weekend. Just because I’m tired of not being done with it 😆 and because I’m enjoying it!

I finished two books last night!
Still working on two. Swan Song will take a little time. I started it and got into it fast but I’ve got other books going at the minute.

As it always goes with these things, the book I'm currently reading is perfect, and none of the others I have planned this month seem to fit at all. Story of my life. 😂
I can throw a short one at this and try to squeeze it in, for something longer it would have to be a re-read, and as hubby is working from home again from tomorrow, reading time will evaporate again, so couldn't guarantee a swift finish for the team bonus if we wanted to go for that.
Had not seen that yet. No clue if I’ve got anything but I’ll look at that listopia for ideas.
No thoughts on worrying about a team bonus until i get a clue what books might work for it.

Requested in Q and a but thought I’d ask you all directly…
Looking for a “picaresque” book written by a woman (or queer authors). Anyone know of any? I’m hoping for something more modern/contemporary than classic. Something easy to get into. Found a Ruth Ware book that is tagged picaresque that I might read, but thought I’d see if anyone has a recommendation.
Exception to the modern caveat: Will accept any fun historical romances!

Hoping for a food task that fits the audio book I'm listening to so I don't have to find another book for it :D

No worries! Feel free to swap out my books as needed. My reading has seriously gone down, so I won't be offended if you need to move my books.
I've struggled with All the Light We Cannot See. 2025 in the US is probably not the right time to read it, but I've finally reached a point where I'm anxious to see what happens next instead of dreading it, and am hoping to have it finished tonight, which should finish off the Time Traveler's Depot
