Okay, I might go ahead and do the picaresque bonus. I thought it was just for this Mon-Fri time period, but nope, it also includes the weekend! I misread it somehow the first five times.

Does anyone know how to change the edition of the book you read on your "read" shelf? I don't want to "switch to this edition", I want to show both editions that I have read of a book. One edition that I read many years ago, then I want to show the edition I just finished. It's driving me nuts that I can't find how to do this without completely switching editions, which changes both books to the current version. ARGH!

Have you tried searching then adding the 2nd format from there? Lord knows they manage it when a giveaway is a different edition than the one on one's TBR. I actually keep track of those so I can get rid of the duplicates.

I had the same thought as you about those giveaway book formats having no issue getting put on shelves.

I tried searching for the book like you suggested and it didn’t work (or I did it wrong), I tried editing the book from my “read” shelf. I’m not bothering anymore. It’s irksome but I know which version I read 20 whatever years ago so I guess that will have to do.

I'm still reading my final 2 books but man it's been hard to really pin down some time to read this week for some reason. I'm so TIRED today and i've been ready to go home since I walked in the door 8 hours ago. Two more to go... then i can get home and plop down on the chaise and read!!!

Hope your day got infinitely better Teresa! I was exhausted yesterday too. Out and on my feet all day, home for dinner and then back out again.
On the plus side, I now have a brand new pair of hiking boots that feel amazing and cut out 90% of the pain I was getting (I had surgery on my feet last July and Oct, and there is still pain and swelling, which is not great when you like to walk as much as I do 😆). Totally worth going in and out of SEVENTEEN shoe shops for!!

I need new shoes for work and I dread going shopping for them. I'm hoping to find some at the two shops I plan to go to.

Yesterday, I fell asleep at work, lol. Shhhh. I was sitting out in the lobby on a 10 minute break, which turned into a 30 minute nap, oops. I got home, ate a snack and fell asleep around 7:30 PM and slept all night. So, zero reading got done!

Now I just have to get through today and I've got a 3 day weekend to finish up my 2 books.

I didn't even realize I fell asleep until I snapped awake. Last thing I remembered was playing Solitaire on my phone. I blame the quietness of the lobby lulling me into slumber.

I'm not sure, either. Laila Jane has seemingly disappeared, or else she's just busy reading (and other life stuff). I hope we can complete all of the remaining tasks. Perhaps we should check with Ashley and see if anyone can cover any of LJ's tasks if we don't hear from her soon. Or if we can earn points for finished books because we've got a lot of points finished.
