Laila Jane (axlilxlala) | 154 comments I'm so behind on my books this week. I finally finished my book for the wild card roulette. I checked in my individual post. Is there anything else I have to do for it?

Sammy (sammystarbuck) | 3767 comments We need to post a victory post. I can do that now.

Sammy (sammystarbuck) | 3767 comments Ok, so we can submit more than one book each for the bonus apparently. Does anyone have any others finished during the bonus timeframe that fit?

Second opinions welcomed on whether I can use any of these for bright lights:

An Aura of Mystery (Ellie McEwan #1) by Joy Ellis (moon)
Love and Other Pranks by Tony Vigorito (stars)
The Dark Tower (The Dark Tower, #7) by Stephen King (unidentified bright glow)

And I've got

Plan for the Worst (Chronicles of St Mary's, #11) by Jodi Taylor which has a striped sail

Oh! I read this one the other day. Do you think it works?? I almost ignored it but that disco ball could be a bright light??

Disco Witches of Fire Island A Novel by Blair Fell

message 227: by Sammy (new)

Sammy (sammystarbuck) | 3767 comments I'd say that there is a bright light reflected in the disco ball...

I'll be finishing a 700-pager tomorrow, so it would be awesome to have somewhere to put it! (I've finished all my books for this, lol.)

message 234: by Lexi (new)

Lexi | 778 comments I’ve got a 900+ page one tomorrow as well if there is a space for it. Likely my longest one this year.

How is the book? Does it feel worth 900 pages? I looked at what you’re reading to see what it is and I love the cover!

The first one is Tuyo and is entirely worth the 400 pages. It has a very cozy feeling that you just want to keep hanging out with the characters despite not being cozy in the normal sense in that it has a really strong plot with death and high stakes. It is an odd series where the main plot is book 1,3 and 7 so those are the only ones I have read. I really liked 1 and 3, which was around 600 pages, but this one is a little over long.

Teddie (teddieg) | 1004 comments I checked us in for the Mythic Whirl ride. I figure when we get our next word I'll find a letter that Laila Jane's Drama King will fit.

It doesn't look like you've started it yet, so totally up to you Laila Jane if you want to leave it there with the new word. :)
