My name is Emily. It's only been 6 months since I started to read more regularly and I need to catch up on the classics. As a history major, it's difficult to find time to read for fun rather than for work, so I'm usually reading classic short stories and novellas (thank you for the masterlist!). Hi, my name is Mary Ann, and I have relied on Goodreads for years. I'm an avid gardener, and recently moved from Florida to Upstate SC. To make friends, I have started a book club at our local coffee shop. We couldn't decide between classics or books from around the world, so we combined the two! We have read How Green Was My Valley (Wales), Cry the Beloved Country (S. Africa), and The Good Earth (China). Now I need to come up with ideas for our next few books!
