Yes, Canada. What do you wonder?

I recall reading a book where the protagonist reached the Clairmont corner. We have a Clairmont corner just outside of town. Then, the protagonist turned left and drove on into Grande Prairie which is my city. At the time, I lived south of the city in a rural community called Grovedale. The protagonist was starting as a fire lookout in Grovedale. I was so surprised! We are heavily forested here, and Grovedale does have fire towers. I've been up one since a friend worked as a lookout. So cool when that happens.

(I had a hard time with this book. My dad was a private detective in Fort Lauderdale where I grew up. My grandfather owned a yacht basin there and I used to “help” him when I was little. I always gravitated to the sailing yachts. That being said, this book did little justice to either. The sentence structure was horrible, there were plots holes and many mistakes. But it’s done!)
